Installing the cooler #d13403 on a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 v8 5.3 liter. I do not believe that the detail insta-adapt will work. Is there another radiator adapter that will.

The Derale 19-Row Stacked-Plate Transmission Cooler Kit, -6 AN Inlets - Class V # D13403 is a great option for your 2016 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3 V8. This does fit most vehicles with the 5/16" transmission lines, but I recommend adding the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM # D13035. This adapter allows you to easily connect the radiator to the transmission cooler. I attached a demonstration video for you.
