A trailer jack lifts your trailer high enough at the tongue to allow you to couple it with your vehicle. Usually, your tongue weight is about 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). For example, a 10,000-lb trailer has a tongue weight of 1,000 lbs to 1,500 lbs. To raise the tongue of a trailer this size, you'd need a jack that can handle a static load of no less than 1,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time fishing.

After a year the jack is still holding up nicely. Granted, I no longer use it in a salt environment, but I do use it regularly in a freshwater environment. Still cranks easily.
Very nice! Very easy to install. I never thought it would be so easy to reposition my boat in the garage. Moves so smoothly raising/lowering my trailer on/off my hitch. My only wish is that I would have replaced my old jack sooner! I highly recommend this wheel jack...
I purchased my Mj-1200B trailer jack last year for my DJ equipment trailer. The quality is great and more heavy duty than I probably need for a small 4x6' trailer but I couldn't be without it. No issues what so ever and so I'm very happy with the purchase!

Sturdy and does the job well
So this boat trailer had an Atwood jack and the mounting bracket was actually welded on the frame. Got lucky as the round hole after removing all the mounting hardware fit on the welded bracket. Had to drill out catch holes but all is well!
The swivel jack w/wheel was exactly what I was looking for...it is being used on my ATV wagon...the swivel jack has a large wheel for easy maneuverability...large load capability...
Got it installed. Could have used a 2nd pair of hands however it appears like it will solve the issue of having to lift the trailer up. Very happy with it

Had a hard time finding a trailer jack for my boat. It was unique and did not what to place jack in a different place on the trailer frame. I sent in photos of what I had. Within in a day I had a response with the correct jack and they shipped it that day. Got it 2 days later installed at the lake today, it works perfect. These guys and gals know there stuff. I attached this to my Casita Trailer and removed the factory installed one so that I could use my tailgate without hitting it on the hitch. Worked like a dream and was able to install with ease in 5 minutes.

Still very happy. I wish the wheel was detachable and a foot could be installed. Sometimes the wheel is a bit too tall for unhooking from my Tacoma.
Haven't used it yet, but seems solid!

This jack works great. It is so much easier to use than my old one.
I can recommend it.
I wanted the ability to detach from my utility trailer while it was loaded. My KIA Soul's receiver was close to the road so required a swivel jack with a very low retracted position. Was looking for something in the 10.5" range. This Jack had the lowest advertised height of 12.5" to the center line of the tounge tube. It occurred to me that the 12.5" was derived from the pivot point assuming a 4" tounge and mine was a 3". This gained me .5" towards my goal. I also discovered that if I mounted the bracket upside down from the instructions I would gain an inch more. This, combined with a higher rise ball mount worked out great. I'm very satisfied with this product.
I've had this tongue jack for about a year now. There's VERY little sign of rust after being exposed to the salt air and the jack still works as new. What killed the last one was the lock pin for the swivel action was not holding properly. The swivel plates, lock pin and lock pin spring are still in excellent shape on this unit.
I bought this swivel jack for a utility trailer. It appears very well made and works well. Excellent value.

Have used it for a year. Still like new!
These are working so much better than the support legs that came with my pop-up.
I mounted two on the back bumper and have one on the tongue, I can level my trailor upon set-up in minutes, or can jack the trailor and change a tire in minutes.....

The trailer seems perfect for my 12 foot Jackson Mayfly sit on top kayak. The trailer was shipped promptly in 5 boxes, all the parts were there. Instructions on how to assemble the trailer were excellent. Very happy with my purchase. I did add 2 wooden upright guides to keep the kayak centered on the trailer going down the road.
