Are RAM Jacks and etrailer Jacks the Same

Question:
Bryce, I did not see where I could add an image to a reply, so I am creating a new question. Please see the attached image. I put a red dot next to the RAM part number and a red dot next to the outer tube dimension. Can you please advise whether the RAM brand is the same ax Etrailer brand, and they are not, do you know whether Rams MJ-1200B jack has a 2 1/8inch outer tube and 2inch inner tube? Also, if RAM andetrailers jacks are different, can you please advise regarding capacity difference assuming both jacks have different tube dimensions? I am confused. Thank you. Kelly S.

Kelly, the RAM jack MJ-1200B is the same thing as the etrailer # MJ-1200B. The discrepancies in the outer and inner tube measurements (3/8") are what we measured, versus what the original manufacturer measured. Sometimes the manufacturer measures one thing, but when we get our hands on it and re-measure it for our site we get a different measurement, which I believe is what you're seeing here.
