Features to know about

Peace of Mind with Reliable Support: Deep-Seated Retaining Ring

Worried about your trailer jack failing under side-load pressure? The Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack offers a deep-seated retaining ring that enhances stability and support. This feature ensures your jack operates smoothly, even during demanding agricultural or commercial applications, so you can focus on your tasks instead of worrying about equipment failure.

Effortlessly Maneuver Your Trailer: Swivel and Topwind Design

If you’ve ever struggled with storage or needed to relocate your trailer, this jack has you covered. The swivel design, paired with a topwind handle with a comfortable claw grip, allows you to easily swing the jack up for travel and down for operation. This means you can maneuver your trailer without the hassle, ensuring quick and smooth setup every time.

Rust-Free Durability: Triple-Coated Protection

Dealing with rust and weather damage is a common trailer concern – not with this jack. It features a corrosion-resistant triple-coat finish: a black powder coat for the outer tube and a clear zinc finish for the inner tube and footplate. This durable finish ensures your jack withstands harsh weather and looks great for years to come.

Flexible Fit for Various Trailers: Adjustable Bolt-On Bracket

Tired of incompatible jacks? The adjustable bolt-on bracket fits trailer frames up to 3 inches wide and 2 to 4 inches tall, eliminating fitment worries. With multiple holes for easy installation, you can enjoy a straightforward setup, making it ideal for different trailers from utility to enclosed ones.

Solid Ground Every Time: Welded Footplate

Ever worried about your trailer sinking in soft ground? This jack comes with a welded-on footplate that offers a solid and stable contact point. It minimizes sinking, maintains stability on uneven terrains, and saves you the trouble of finding extra support blocks, ensuring your trailer stays firmly in place.

Ready for Heavy Lifting: 2,000 lbs Lift Capacity

When lifting heavy loads, you need a dependable jack. With a lift capacity of 2,000 pounds and a travel distance of 10-1/2 inches, this jack provides plenty of strength to lift and hold your trailer tongue. It's perfect for utility trailers, car haulers, or any task requiring robust support.

  • Trailer Jack to Avoid Tailgate Clearance Issues
There are a few solutions for your tailgate to clear the jack on your trailer. I recommend to use a longer ball mount like # D-26, that would move the trailer back further away from the truck and give you clearance you need. If you know what size the hitch on your vehicle is, the rise or drop of the ball mount for your trailer, if you're using weight distribution or not, and the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole I can make the best recommendation...

  • A-Frame Trailer Jack that Can Attach to Inside of Trailer Frame
So the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack # STC-V211 uses brackets to mount to the side of a trailer frame. For a trailer jack that uses the same style of topwind handle and mounting brackets we have the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack w/ Footplate # TJBB-2001-B which would work well.

  • Will the etrailer Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack # TJBB-2001-B Fit on a 2 inch by 5 inch Trailer Frame
We have several options for a bolt on swivel jack for your trailer with 2 by 5 inch frame (see link). I would recommend the Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack with 8 inch Wheel - Sidewind - 1,500 lbs. by Dutton-Lainson, item # DL22800, for your trailer if the 1500 pound capacity is sufficient for your boat and trailer. These jacks are high quality and designed to fit square tongues up to 3 x 5 inches. The etrailer Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack - Bolt On - Topwind - 10 1/2 inch Lift - 2,000...

  • What Mounting Bracket Is Needed for the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack TJB-2001-Z
There is only one bracket needed to install the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack part # TJB-2001-Z on your utility trailer and the bracket is included with the jack so no additional purchases are necessary. I have pointed this bracket out for you. It will need to be welded to the trailer frame. If you don't want to do any welding on the trailer then you can use the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack w/ Footplate part # TJBB-2001-B instead which is essentially just a bolt-on version of the above jack...

  • Bolt-On Swivel Jack For Improved Ground Clearance
You are correct that welding steel to aluminum is a tricky process best left to experienced welders, but if your issue is that you jack sometimes scrapes on the ground you can avoid the need to weld by simply bolting on a swivel jack. • Recommended Marine Trailer Jack w/ a Wheel
I do have a jack for you but the etrailer Item # TJBB-2001-B you were looking at does not have the option to add a wheel. Instead you will want the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack item # PSEJ10000101. This jack is similar to the Fulton F141005014 you referenced that is no longer active. It is a side wind jack, with a wheel, that has a 1,000 lbs capacity. It has a small foot print for the mounting bracket. I have linked a diagram below that will show the dimensions.

  • Trailer Jack Compatibility with 14 Inch Tongue Space
The Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack with 8" Wheel - Sidewind - 1,500 lbs. by Dutton-Lainson # DL22800 has an overall length of 26-5/8 inches, so it will not fit where you are desiring. The height to the bracket when retracted is 13 inches, but the overall will to too long. The closest I found was the # PS1400300303 which is 11 inches to the center of the bracket when retracted as is # TJBB-2001-B.

  • Recommended Side Frame Trailer Jack for 3 x 3 Straight Tongue Trailer
Based on everything you mentioned, the trailer jack I highly recommend for your trailer is the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack with Footplate - Bolt On # TJBB-2001-B. This will easily bolt on to your 3" x 3" trailer tongue, has a 21-1/2" extended height which is perfect for the height of your trailer, and has a 2,000 lb capacity, which is more than enough for the weight of your trailer because a jack only needs to support the tongue weight of a trailer. This is a very high-quality jack with...

  • How to Pick Out a Trailer Jack for a Boat Trailer
The best way to pick out a jack is to pick out one that has enough capacity to handle the tongue weight of your trailer. Typically, tongue weight is 10-15 percent of the total weight of the trailer. So lets say your boat and trailer weight a total of 10,000 lbs. Most likely you would have a tongue weight of 1,000-1,500 lbs.
