It bolted right on trailer and works/cranks easily. Nice it's greaseable as my trailer lives outside.

by:

Great Jack. Works flawlessly. They shipped my order very rapidly the Jack was spot on in the decryption.

by:

I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.
Thanks for everything Etrailer

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.

by:

Simple, strong, and reliable

by:

Work perfectly for the application we intended, as risers for a 30’ belt!

by:

Item arrived one day after expected date, but that was due to UPS. etrailer has it processed and out to UPS same day I ordered it, which was a Sunday too. Item arrived great. Was exactly what was described. I could not find this same jack at other stores. etrailer had exactly what I needed and it was cheaper, with a higher rating too. Will order from etrailer again.

by:

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

by:

Jack was good product

by:

This is a sturdy and easy to use manual jack. It is replacing a failed electric jack, and I am glad to have a manual jack of this high quality. It is the perfect size for my 3500 lb Rockwood Travel Trailer.

by:

Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.

by:

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

by:

I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.

by:

Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.

by:

Great product

by:

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

by:

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

by:

Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..

by:

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.

A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

We love to offer parts that are made in the USA. We do not offer a similar jack that is USA made however on any part that is, it will be listed on the product page as Made in USA.

by:

Excellent service nothing but good thin gs

by:

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

These jacks arrive to us in large pallets which unfortunately does mean they are not in the best shape. I am happy to have Customer Service contact you.

by:

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld up and strong as ever!

by:

Easy installation! Just three bolts and back in action...

VERY PROMPT SERVICE

I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!

  • Replacement Jack for 2014 Legend Enclosed Trailer with A-Frame
It sounds like you likely have an A-Frame trailer, so you can use something like the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B which will attach to the 3 mounting points on the trailer tongue and provide you with a jack with 15" of lift. This jack doesn't come with a foot so you'll also need the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99, which is designed for that jack. If you're looking for an electric jack then something like...

  • Bulldog Topwind Jack that Can Crank with Interference Near Mount
Sounds like your trailer needs a jack with a topwind like the Bulldog part # BD155032. There isn't a way to relocate the handle of the jack you mentioned so a topwind would be your best choice. The topwind jacks can swivel and pivot as needed to which allows them to be even more flexible in how they can function.

  • Replacement Handle and Gear Kit for etrailer Side Wind Jack
We offer a range of replacement parts for etrailer jack and many other jack brands. For example, if you have etrailer Round A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B you can use Replacement Sidewind Handle # TJA-2000S-HD, Replacement Sidewind Gear Kit # TJA-2000S-GR or if you just need the handle, it is part # HDKB-BLK . If you can advise the jack's part number, I can check for the correct replacement parts.

  • Recommended Replacement Round Jack For Trailer Coupler
It is an easy replacement for you based on the picture you sent. The opening for most A-frame jacks require an outer diameter of 2-1/4 inches. I recommend you use a round jack like the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B, it will be an easy fit without any change to the hole other than maybe cleaning up corrosion. For this application you will also want a footplate like # JF-99. This mount has all three elongated holes for easy mounting. The...

  • What is Difference Between Bulldog Trailer Jacks BD155032 and etrailer TJA-5000S-B
The Bulldog A-Frame Trailer Jack # BD155032 is a topwind jack and the etrailer jack # TJA-5000S-B is a sidewind jack. Both of them are solid choices and have 5,000 lb capacities but the handles and how they are cranked are opposite of each other. The topwind jack spins horizontally when you raise or lower it and a sidewind cranks vertically. Sometimes clearances or interference with other accessories on the trailer may cause one style to be more advantageous than the other.

  • Replacement Trailer Jack on Horse Trailer to Replace Bulldog A-Frame Jack
For an A-frame jack to replace the one you have now the I recommend the etrailer jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced would work great. This has a 5,000 lb lifting capacity so it would easily handle the tongue weight of your trailer that is most likely around 850. For a foot pad you'd then want the part # JF-99. This jack is a sidewind jack with I think are easier to crank than the topwind.

  • Can an A-Frame Trailer Jack be Installed Using Screws and Nuts Instead of Bolts and Nuts
The preferred method of installing an A-Frame trailer jack such as # TJA-5000S-B is to use bolts, washers, and nuts because it is a lot easier to get enough torque on a bolt and nut than it is with a screw and nut. Is there something that is preventing you from using bolts? Do you have a surplus of 3/8" machine screws? I haven't seen a trailer yet that used screws. Assuming you can get enough torque to properly secure the jack and the screws are appropriately rated for the application then...

  • What Type of Grease Should Be Used To Lube the etrailer Round A-Frame Jack
The etraielr Round A-Frame Jack part # TJA-5000S-B is not very picky when it comes to the grease type so you could use a high-temp wheel bearing grease like the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease part # L11390 without issue. The manual for the Bulldog Round A-Frame Jack only calls for a generic automotive type grease which high-temp wheel bearing grease falls under. Please note however you will want to remove as much of the old grease as possible before installing the new grease.

  • How Much Grease Should be Used and How Often to Grease Round A-Frame Trailer Jack TJA-5000S-B
On the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs Item # TJA-5000S-B you will be good with about 3 or 4 pumps of grease from a grease gun. You will know it is too much if it starts oozing out somewhere! It would be a good idea to add grease 3 or 4 times a year but really it depends on several factors like how often the jack is used, how long it sits, the climate, and so on.

  • Trailer Jack Recommendation for 19 Foot Springdale Camper
I looked up your trailer and it has an A-frame style jack on it so for a replacement the Bulldog jack part # TJA-5000S-B would fit and work well. Unless you wanted to go with an electric jack to make raising and lower the jack easier. I think the best value for an A-frame tongue jack is the Stromberg Carlson # SC63VR which is rated for 4500 pounds of tongue weight. This is 1000 pounds more than other models, and even though you may not need this much capacity, you will find that the jack...

  • Can Holes be Drilled to Add A-Frame Jack to Trailer
Yes, you can drill holes to add an A-frame jack to your pop-up camper if your current jack is getting in the way of your anti-sway bars. You will need to have a mounting plate to of some sort to drill into as opposed to drilling into the frame of your trailer. If you do not have one you would need to have a welder add one to the front of your trailer's A-frame and you could then add an A-frame jack! The easiest to use setup will be a powered landing gear set though as it would only require you to press a button. For that the Reese part # RP500708 would be a great option.
