Can Holes be Drilled to Add A-Frame Jack to Trailer

Question:

I have a pop up camper with a side swivel jack that is welded to the frame. When this swivel jack is propped up for travel, it gets in the way of my anti sway bars for my hitch. I know it is probably over kill to have anti sway bars for a pop up camper that weighs between 3500-4000 lbs, but i prefer to tow with it. It appears that the swivel jack could be removed from the welded mount plate by removing the retaining ring. If I am able to remove the swivel jack, I would like to mount an A-frame jack. Currently there isnt a 2 1/4 inch in hole for an A-frame jack. Could a hole be drilled to accommodate the A-frame in jack? I know this is several questions in one and I appreciate your help in advance.

Yes, you can drill holes to add an A-frame jack to your pop-up camper if your current jack is getting in the way of your anti-sway bars. You will need to have a mounting plate to of some sort to drill into as opposed to drilling into the frame of your trailer. If you do not have one you would need to have a welder add one to the front of your trailer's A-frame and you could then add an A-frame jack!

You could then add an electric A-frame jack like the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSEA2000-14007.
