Features to know about

Made for Heavy Loads and Long Highway Runs: Load Range D with 81-mph Speed Rating

When you’re towing at highway speeds or running heavy, this tire and wheel setup keeps pace without breaking a sweat. The Kenda Loadstar ST185/80D13 bias tire carries a Load Range D rating with an 8-ply construction and a 1,710-lb maximum load at 65 psi. It’s matched with a steel wheel rated for 1,660 lbs, and the pair meets Department of Transportation specs. That means steady tracking and durability at up to 81 mph so you can tow confidently mile after mile.

Ready to Mount and Go: Pre-Assembled Tire and Galvanized Wheel

No need for a tire shop run or mounting hassle. This combo arrives pre-mounted, properly inflated, and ready to bolt on with a 5 on 4-1/2" pattern. The 13" x 4-1/2" steel wheel features an 8-spoke design and a galvanized finish that resists rust in moist or humid environments. It’s built to handle exposure while keeping its strength and appearance season after season.

Smooth Towing on Rough Roads: Bias-Ply Stability with 8-Layer Design

The bias construction uses nylon cords set at a 30–45° angle in alternating layers. That crisscross pattern strengthens the sidewalls so the whole tire flexes evenly across uneven ground. The result is a tire that feels stable, tracks straight, and smooths out bumps whether you’re on pavement or rolling over less-than-perfect surfaces.

Built to Last Through Weather and Wear: Corrosion Resistance and Long Tread Life

Galvanized steel fights rust from rain or road spray, while the advanced rubber compound of the Loadstar tire helps reduce rolling resistance for cooler running and longer tread wear. With its flatter tread profile, this setup offers improved stability and handling plus dependable performance over years of towing.

Peace of Mind Coverage: 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

If the tire is damaged for any reason in its first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge under Kenda’s 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee. Along with the tire’s 5-year warranty and limited 2-year wheel warranty, it’s extra assurance that your trailer will stay ready to roll.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Nothing but good things to say product arrived quickly and very happy with the wheels and tires.

by:

Like the tire and rim
Arrived in time
as it always does
Thanks etrailer for another great product

by:

Tires with rims arrived today and look great. PSI was even correct right out of the box. Won’t be using the boat/trailer until this weekend but I have a lot more confidence now that I won’t have a blowout.

by:

fair price fast shipping installed easy happy with the purchase.

by:

We needed a tire in a short period of time. The tire was instock and the delivery schedule we were given from Etrailer would work if it arrived on time (ordered Monday night and received on Friday). It did! We are beyond pleased as we needed it for the weekend. Luckily, we have not had to use this spare tire yet; but can vouch that we were able to track the delivery and it arrived as promised when we ordered it.

by:

Could not be more pleased. Needed a basic spare tire set up for a jet ski trailer and received the items in less than a week. GREAT on- line experience and will now be shopping here for all future trailer needs.

by:

Arrived on time and in good condition. 1 year after purchase and after my travel trailer sitting all winter, the tires held air through the whole winter season. Spring through Fall they handled very well through all of our camping trips.

That's awesome, Nick! Most of the time I hear that the tires will lose a lot of air over the winter so it's nice to hear that these were tough enough for your winters!

by:

Tires and rims were exactly what I ordered, rims look nice, chrome finish. Tires are good quality. Will work great on pontoon boat trailer. Arrived earlier than described. Took 3 days from order to arrive at my home. Thank you

by:

they are great. holding pressure well. loading and unloading in salt water now in and no issues. granted I am not traveling very far to the boat launch now.

by:

It's been a year since these tires and rims have been installed. They've held up great with just under 7k miles. Thank you etrailer!

by:

Good price. Super shipping to my door. Works as should.

by:

Tire and rim delivered just as advertised online. Great service.

by:

I have to say the customer service and inventory selection is great. But with my last order of this trailer wheel and tire the finish on this wheel is less than to be desired . It looks like what ever process went into galvanizing the rim the Quality control was lacking . Other than that I have no issues with etrailer and for sure will order more in the future when need be

by:

Great price, quality tire and rim with fast shipping from etrailer. After internet search at many sites, etrailer offered the best price and tire I needed as a spare for my boat trailer. Also received a very nice sturdy Fulton tire mount. Received order extremely fast within 2 days. Very pleased and would definitely order again.

by:

Exactly what I wanted. 2 new tires and rims for my 2014 Yamaha SX190 boat trailer. Had the tires balanced at the local tire shop we use for our cars real cheap ??. One was "typical" out of balance the other was more so. I won't complain. They are now balanced. I'm using the old ones as spares since this trailer doesn't have spares. Good to know my F150 jack and wrench work perfectly on the trailer so no extras needed. I will definitely use etrailer again if the need arises. They are great.

by:

Ordered the tires on a Sunday night and even with regular shipping they were at my house Tuesday. I bought them to replace a pair of trailer tires purchased locally- nearly identical price, but both the tires and the wheels are of MUCH higher quality materials. I was emailed the next day to make sure the order had arrived and that I was satisfied with everything. Customer service has been great- will definitely use etrailer again!

by:

Great looking rim and tire combo with unbelievably fast shipping!!

by:

Tires and rims arrived a couple days earlier than expected. I am very happy with the products and pleased with the appearance of the galvanized rims.
I also made a separate order on plastic fenders of which I'm very happy with.

Both orders were packaged well and had no damage upon arrival.

Had a slow leak since day one with this tire and rim. IT was more of a nuisance than anything. Had to add air every week or two. Over the winter it would leak, leaving me a flat in the spring. Kept trying to remount as tire place thought it was a leak at the seal of the rim. Finally, I installed on another known good rim. I had the same issues, per the tire place. I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF and discovered 8 tiny holes on both sides near the rim. I'M a 71 year old and have never seen anything like this before. I contacted etrailer and they refused to help me. They refused to help me because of time of warranty time period. (over by a couple of months) even though the unusual problem existed from day 1). They referred me to the manufacturer. They refused for the same reason. Only the Chinese can invent a new type of defect. The tire also took quite a bite of weight for balancing. (several times). This is my 6th tire for this boat trailer in 26 years. This tire was the only time I had an issue. A clear defect. CHINESE JUNK!!

by:

1 year on trailer. Nice and solid tire.

by:

Tires are perfect, price was good, shipping was fast.

by:

Looks just like the stock wheels but the rim is a little beefier and the 8ply tires are a definite upgrade from the stock 6ply. I only needed a spare but since these were better I bought 2 and used one of the stock wheels as the spare.

I don't blame you for wanting to just go ahead and upgrade them to a high load range, Seth. Definitely give peace of mind, and they look great on your trailer!

I needed to replace the wheels and tires on my Karavan trailer. These are exactly what I needed. Fairly priced and shipped quickly. Packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes.

It sounds like you installed a tongue jack on one side of your Featherlite trailer frame. On the other side of the trailer frame you could install a Fulton Hi Mount Spare Tire Carrier part # FSTC1000301 to mount your spare if you can determine that its compatible. This carrier works on 4 on 4, and 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern wheels that are 10 inch or larger in diameter. This will also fit frames that are up to 3 inches in width and 4 inches in height. There are a couple of things that can lead to the tires wearing on the inside only. Basically what is happening is the top of the tire is leaning in towards the trailer causing most of the weight to ride on the inside. This pretty much means the axle is bent, especially if both sides have the same problem. If it were just one side, there is a chance that is just the spindle that is bent. It will keep wearing on the inside until the issue is resolved and that could mean a new axle. You...

I do not know the size you need but some examples of stainless steel lug nuts include # AM90070 or # KALN1375S for 1/2"-20 threads (very common). Yes, as long as the spare tire is the same size, load range (weight rating) and has the matching wheel bolt pattern you can use a bias ply spare to replace a radial main tire for the short distance you'll travel to get the radial repaired or replaced. For example, the 5-on-4-1/2 bias ply # AM31233 can be used as a spare to replace radial # AM31994.
