Now this is a complete kit that'll include the custom mounting brackets, the base rails, and all the hardware you need for installation. Now these mounting brackets, these are designed to Mount beneath your truck bed. They provide the attachment points for these fifth wheel base rails to connect to, these brackets, provide a nice custom fit because they'll mount to your existing holes in your vehicle's frame.This will help minimize the amount of drilling that's required and it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits.
The base rails, which is this one and this one right here, these are what will mount to these mounting brackets and then they sit into your truck bed, and they allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. These are visible base rails because when they're in your truck you will be able to see them. These do have a carbide finish to them so they do match the Curt Q5 fifth wheel hitch finish, and these rails are compatible with the Curt draw Tite, hidden hitch Reese and Husky fifth wheel hitches. Fit good. Definitely easier if I would have had a hoist and it takes 2 people to get the 4 hex head bolts in. But turned out great.
Fast delivery. Everything went good with installation. Some of the bolt locations are difficult to get to so a few more nuts with welded handles would make it easier. Matched up great with my B&W patriot 5th wheel
