Can Trailer Axle with 5 Lug Wheels go From 13 inch Wheel to 10 inch Wheel

Question:
I have a dhorelandr 20 ft pontoon bunk trailer. Tandem with surge breaks. Currently has 185/80 R13 tires n wheels. I want to put 10 inch wheels and tires on it. Will 165/70 R10 wheels fit. I have 5 lug hubs.. what do you have. Can you help me?

Hey Jeffrey, if the axle you have now is between a 2,000 lb and a 2,700 lb rating then yes you could go down to the 10 inch size but if it's a 3,500 or higher then it wouldn't be possible.
