Today we're going to be taking a look at the MB Sturgis propane adapter hose. This hose is used for connecting a small portable camping appliance such as a grill, heater, or lantern, to a refillable 20-pound or 30-pound propane cylinder. This allows you to replace a disposable 1-pound propane bottle for longer periods of appliance usage. It's constructed of a thermoplastic construction. It's very strong, durable, and flexible. It's going to have the stainless steel over braid that protects against damage. The inner diameter is 1/4 inch.
It's going to feature a type 1 drain connector on this end that connects to the propane cylinder. On the other end is a 1 inch x 20 male swivel connector for connecting to the appliance. This is CAN and CGA 8.1 certified. It's designed for LP gas only. The temperature range is -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum pressure rating is 350 psi and the overall length of this assembly is 144 inches, which is 12 feet long. That's going to do it for today's look at the MB Sturgis propane adapter hose..

Step up your campout cooking game and ditch those little green cylinders that run out of gas far too soon. This hose lets you hook up your cooktop or other portable appliance to the same kind of refillable tank you use with your home grill.I got to use this item first time this week to fire up a propane grill attached to an RV propane bottle. The green end fitting attaches directly to the propane tank. The Brass end attaches to the grill regulator which is designed to use the small propane camping gas bottles, same fitting. The hose is more convenient in that there is not a bottle hanging off the grill. However you have to set up within 10 feet or less of the propane tank. When detaching from the tank the hose vents itself so be sure there are no flames nearby. Quality seems to be excellent.
This is exactly the adapter hose we needed to connect our 20 lb propane tank to our 2 burner Coleman stove. Very glad to no longer need to use those silly 1 lb little propane cartridges that are difficult to recycle when we already have a 20 lb tank that's refillable and lasts a heck of a lot longer. Was quick and easy to use and arrived quickly after ordering even with the standard shipping.
Coupled with propane bottle adapter allows connection of a external propane bottle directly to my RV.
Exceptional customer service! Submitted my order Sunday morning and it was packaged and ship same day. Estimated delivery the following Thursday, and arrived on Wednesday. Everything was 100% correct with the order -- including door handles with locks keyed the same. Quality of products looks great as well -- exactly as expected. Getting ready for my next order now.
This was exactly what I wanted. The picture was a big help in choosing the correct item. It was a telephone order and the individual taking my call was very helpful.
Great product and great service!

Used this propane hose many times. No issues. It coils up to about a 16in coil and stores in a bin.
