When a flat tire puts you on the shoulder, the last thing you need is a spare that's rusted or has bounced loose. With this galvanized carrier, your spare is secure on frames up to 8" tall and ready to save the day.
Not every trailer runs the same wheels. Some light-duty utility trailers use 4-lug, most boat trailers run 5-lug, and heavier rigs often step up to 6-lug. Instead of buying a different mount each time, this Tie Down carrier is built to fit all three. That flexibility means you can keep one carrier even if your trailer changes, or if you maintain more than one trailer in your setup.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Tie Down spare tire mount. It's gonna fit four, five and six lug wheels and it has a nice galvanized finish over a heavy duty steel construction. Now like I said, folks, this is very accomodatable because it can fit four, five, and six lug wheels. You can simply slide the included studs with the bolts left or right, fitting your specific lug pattern.
You also get two of these little clips here, and these are designed to go on before that lug nut there and that just basically will hold that tight in place so you don't have to worry about it moving and wobbling like it is here when it's loosely just put in there. As far as fitment, you can fit about three inches wide up to eight inches tall as far as your trailer frame, and you have many, many adjustment holes back here in these plates. All the way up to about here, left and right wig wagging there, back and forth all the way up and down. So you can accommodate pretty much most frames. Again, up to eight inches tall.
You get a little hole here, that's where maybe you could put a security cable and lock, not included, through your wheel and tire combo and then hold it on here to keep it extra safe and extra secure. As far as some dimensions, overall on the width of this main plate here, I got 6 1/2 inches wide. Over here I got six inches exactly from this to this plane. And then on a height, from the top to the ground, 15 1/4 inches tall. So again, folks, a great option for you.
It's hot dipped and galvanized, so it's gonna add that nice look, but also that longevity that you need as far as corrosion, resistance to weather, salt spray, those kind of things. So great for a boat trailer, even utility trailer frames, those kind of things. And everything here has been heavy duty computer welded, so it's a nice perfect weld. You're not gonna have to worry about breakdowns, cracks or failures. Folks, that will wrap it up for our quick look together.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching and please comment or call if you have any questions.
