One more question. If I buy tires on rims, are they balanced?

In general, radial ply tires are better for long highway trips whereas bias ply tires are better for short trips that may lead you offroad. However, we only offer bias ply trailer tires in a ST185/80-D13. We currently have 3 wheel/tire combos in your size all of which have a wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2" lug pattern. I have attached these options for you below but you will want to use the attached help article to ensure you have chosen the correct lug pattern.

Loadstar Tire/White Mod Wheel: part # AM3S333

Loadstar Tire/White Spoke Wheel: part # AM3S331

All of our wheel/tire combos come pre-balanced to an extent. The heavy spot on the wheel is aligned with the light spot on the tire to create a balance that is sufficient for use on trailers. They are not completely balanced and will need to be taken to a reputable shop to be zeroed out should you choose but the light/heavy spot method will be more than sufficient for most trailers.
