This tire and wheel combo is made to handle serious towing. The Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 radial tire is load range D with an 8-ply rating and a maximum load of 1,650 lbs at 70 psi. It’s paired with a 13" x 4-1/2" steel wheel rated for 1,725 lbs. The M speed rating (81 mph) and DOT compliance mean it’s built for long hauls and high-speed trips without worry about heat buildup or sidewall fatigue.
The Kenda Karrier radial design couples durability with highway comfort. It uses double steel belts and full nylon plies for long life and smooth performance. The radial cord pattern runs at a 90-degree angle, reducing rolling resistance and heat buildup compared to bias tires. That translates to longer tread life, improved steering stability, and dependable traction in wet or dry conditions.
Moisture and road grime don’t stand a chance against the two-step finish on this steel modular wheel. An e-coat primer is topped with a black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance and a clean look that holds up through seasons of use. The sturdy steel construction adds strength for hauling heavy gear while keeping the setup looking sharp.
This assembly arrives mounted and aired up so you can bolt it on and get rolling right away—no mounting fees or extra shop time needed. It includes Kenda’s 5-year tire warranty plus a limited 1-year warranty on the wheel, along with a 1-year worry-free guarantee that covers replacement if the tire is damaged in the first 12 months.
The wheel has a standard 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, zero offset, and a 3.19" pilot diameter, making it straightforward to match with common hubs. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, and overall tire dimensions are 7" section width with a 24.1" outer diameter when inflated—providing clear specs for an easy fit.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Four Stars as I needed to have the wheels and tires balanced after the delivery.
Ordered these as replacement tires on my Scamp camper when my previous (different brand) went bad after a year. They arrived well packed and ready to use. Making these a easy DIY tire project for me. Having the tire already mounted on the wheel made this so easy. I usually rely on tire shops, but was able to do this transition on my own. Have been towing with these for about a year probably about 5000 miles or so and still going good.

These worked out great! Replaced a set of rims / tires on a pull behind air compressor (Sullair 185).
Quick shipping, everything looked great, got what I expected which is nice. 5x8 utility trailer rolled so much better with these radials, a huge difference compared to the old bias plys that were original equipment. I like the black wheel, though realistic about the life of the steel in northeast salt. I coated inside of wheel with rust spray coating. Overall pleased.
Needed better tires for our camper…these fit the bill. Ordered them on a Monday and they were delivered on Wednesday. Can’t beat that!

No issues on 12,000 mile Alaska trip! I had my Ford dealer add nitrogen. I never had any luck w my Goodyear tires and these replacement tiresrims worked great.

Perfect fit on my 5x8 carryall trailer after installing a spring over axle bracket. Big upgrade from 4.8x12 than came originally. Plenty of fender clearance.
Not able to remove the white stickers on sidewall of tires. They should have installed the ID stickers on the tread of the tires.

Used on that 5000 mile trip with no issues. Very smooth pull at up to 80 mph for long days on highway. VERY satisfied with these tires. I did have professionally balanced before use.
Upgraded my stock Carry-On 4x6G trailer to these 13" wheel/tire combos. Price was right, shipping was quick, wheels were in perfect shape and the tires were aired correctly with very fresh tread. Highly recommended.
