Recommended 16" Trailer Wheel Upgrade for a 2023 Rockwood 8337RL

Question:

I have a 2022 Rockwood 8337RL with 2257515 6 lug tires and wheels. I want to move up to 16 inch tires and wheels. I have about 3 inches between the tires and have lifted it 2.75 inches with your lift kit. Can you recommend tire and wheels sizes? Will 2357516 work?

David, ideally you'd want to keep that minimum of 3" of clearance you have, and upgrading to larger tires is going to decrease that.

You can still upgrade your wheels to a 16" wheel like you're wanting to while still using the same size tire with the Goodyear Wrangler LT225/75R16 Off-Road Tire w 16" Liger Aluminum Wheel # LH42FR.

These are 225/75/16 tires that use a 6 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern, and has a 2,680 lb capacity (at 80 PSI).

Hey David, how did the Goodyear Wrangler tires on the 16-inch Liger wheels work out on your Rockwood? Did the clearance stay close to what you needed after the upgrade? Your results could really help others thinking about a similar tire change.
