Features to know about

Built for Frequent Use Around Water: Galvanized Steel Wheel Resists Corrosion

This combo is made to stand up to moisture and salt exposure. The 12" x 4" 8-spoke steel wheel is fully galvanized, creating a corrosion-resistant surface that holds up where painted finishes can fail. It’s a durable choice for long-term use in wet or humid environments while keeping a clean, bright look over time.

Reliable Strength for Everyday Towing: Load Range B with 840-lb Maximum Load

The 5.30-12 bias tire has a 4-ply rating and carries up to 840 lbs at 55 psi. Paired with a wheel rated at 1,250 lbs, it gives plenty of strength for small and midsize trailers. Each assembly meets Department of Transportation specifications, so you’re running equipment that’s built and rated for real-world hauling.

Smooth Handling Where the Pavement Ends: Bias Ply Stability

Bias construction uses thick nylon cords set at a 30°–45° angle in alternating layers. That crisscross build stiffens the sidewalls so the entire tire flexes together, helping it track straight and absorb bumps when the surface gets uneven. It’s a simple design that feels steady whether you’re moving over rough lots or gravel access roads.

Confident Road Performance: K-65 mph Speed Rating and 0 Offset Fitment

This tire carries a K-rated 65 mph speed limit that matches standard highway use, giving you predictable performance on longer drives. The wheel has a 4 on 4" bolt pattern, 2.84" pilot diameter, and 0 offset for straightforward fitment with common four-lug hubs using 1/2"-20 bolts.

Added Peace of Mind: 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

For extra assurance, this setup includes a 1-year worry-free guarantee—if the tire is damaged within the first twelve months, it’s replaced at no charge. That backs up a design already covered by a 5-year tire warranty and limited 2-year wheel warranty, making it an easy pick for dependable service season after season.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

by:

Purchased 2 of these to replace rusted wheels and dry rotted tires. Very happy with my purchase.

by:

Product was great but I did have to break down the inner side wasn't beaded in the rim straight so that took some time breaking the tire down and getting it to reseal on the beas but other than that tires and wheels are nice!

by:

Site is easy to navigate, items shipped fast and arrived a couple days earlier than expected and the tires and wheels I ordered were exactly as described. Thanks again....will definitely buy from again.

Ordering was a breeze...price was about 30% below farm store for identical tire brand and wheel.Got order confirmaton and updates re: shipping and tracking. Order arrived on date promised and it eas even better quality tha i expected. Could not be happier with purchase and will order again!

by:

My order took longer to fill than expected but etrailer kept me informed along the way. The tires and rims look great and I plan to install them very soon.

by:

Same goes for the wheel and tire package I purchased. The wheels are the galvanized dipped ones and they are also perfect. As far as the tires go, I don,'t even know I am pulling the boat unless I look in the mirror. I have had this boat and trailer for over 20 years and it has never looked and handles as good as it does now.
THANK YOU for it all. I will never buy anywhere else!

by:

I actually bought these to upgrade a trailer I had for sale. It sold quickly, so I didn't get a lot of opportunity to use these tires and wheels before it left my possession. The finish and fitment of the wheels were above what I expected for the price. The tires were high quality and towed nicely. Kenda is a well established commercial tire, and they showed it in the quality of these tires. In short, I would definitely buy this set again.

by:

Quick shipment. Will continue to order from etrailer.

by:

Looks as if surface rust was chromes over, we are concerned how long this rim will last.

What I believe you are seeing is a result from dipping the rim in the galvanizing solution. This creates a rougher finish on the rim however it will help protect the rim from rust.

by:

I just received my new trailer wheels and tires. They arrived at my residence quickly and in good condition. The quality of the wheels and tires seem excellent. While these are bias ply tires, not radials, I see no reason to expect anything but a good lifespan for them. I installed them on my trailer and they fit as they should.
Communication from etrailer.com was great. They informed me of the status of my order on multiple occasions, and also when it arrived, which was helpful as I was out of town the day they were delivered. Good communication is always appreciated when ordering on line. I would definitely recommend etrailer.com to anyone who needs parts for their trailer.

  • Can Tires on 2002 Karavan Trailer Be Upgraded to Larger Size
Hi Nadim; you will need to measure your existing clearance to see if this is possible. Moving to a 5.30-12 like the # AM30710 you were looking at will result in about 1/2" of clearance lost. This probably won't be a problem. An ST175/80D13 like # AM3S130 will be quite a bit larger so you would lose more like 2" of clearance which is quite a lot. You want at least 3" on top and 2" on the inside of the tire for proper clearance. Both of those wheels have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. If you have...

  • Trailer Tire Size Upgrade for Tire Size 4.80-12
Yes, the 5.30-12 trailer tire is a larger tire that can easily replace what you have now of 4.80-12. This tire size can fit on the same wheels you have now so you could get by with just a replacement tire like with part # AM10068 or if you wanted an all new setup you could use the part # AM30861 for a 5 lug wheel or part # AM30710 for a 4 lug. This will be right at 1.5 inches taller than you have now. The next size up will be significantly larger in diameter and width and would not fit...

Currently all the wheel and tire combinations we have with the 5.30-12, and a 4 lug bolt pattern are going to have a 2.84" pilot hole center. This should not be an issue for mounting as these are all lug centric wheels which will center on your hub using tapered Lug Nuts # CE11051 and not the hole center. Hi Tony, The pilot hole (large center hole) on the tire/wheel combos we carry with the 5.30-12 tire size can either be 2.84 inches or the smaller and less common, 2.52 inches. There is only one 4-lug wheel configuration, that being the 4 on 4 bolt pattern you mentioned. • Recommended 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire
In the galvanizing process, depending on how the manufacturer dries the wheels some of it can run to one side making the wheel out of balance. That is an issue you are going to run into with many wheel manufacturers. As long as you are not using your trailer wheels for saltwater applications, I recommend going with a white powdered coat steel wheel and tire combo like # AM30859. With this wheel you still get excellent rust resistance, style, and none of the issues associated with galvanized...

  • 5.30-12" VS 205/65-10" For a 2001 Pontoon Boat Trailer and Boat Weighing 1,000LBS
My concern is these tires are very different sizes and I'm not sure how well they will fit your trailer. Since you mentioned already having the 5.3-12 on the trailer that would be the size I recommend going with as long as they have sufficient tire clearance. You want to have 1" of clearance from the tire side wall and 3" of clearance from the tread to ensure the suspension has room for travel when loaded. We've measured the pilot diameter of the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30710 and verified that it is 2.84 inches in diameter. Also, since some wheels are hub centric the manufacturers know that they have to get the dimension totally exact.

  • Will the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel Replaced Wheel With Smaller Pilot
In regards to pilot hole diameter, this really only matter if the wheels are hub piloted which most trailer wheels are not. If your wheels have beveled lug nut holes then they are lug piloted so as long as the hub bore on the wheel is larger than the hub you will be fine. Therefore, the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel part # AM30710 will work just fine.
