Got my upgrade kit yesterday along with new springs and Road Armor equalizer. This will be a huge improvement over the stock units i had on the trailer. I want to give kudos to etrailer for the prompt and quality shipping. Everything is great. Also, to @BigTruckBigRV for the invaluable information on the different types of equalizers and parts. His report guided me to etrailer. Finally, and big thanks to Phillip and this guidance and suggestions. I had shopped on the web site and had a pretty good idea of what i was looking for and at. I bought this kit to upgrade the suspension on my RV. I installed Road Armor equalizers when I installed this kit and everything worked perfectly together.
The shackles are massive and you get everything you need to completely re-work your leaf spring suspension. The wet bolts are machined perfectly and include locking style nuts - no lock washers needed.
Putting grease into the bolts really quieted down the suspension on the RV. No more low speed squeaking when parking or moving.
etrailer was great to buy from. Their tech support confirmed for me that I could use this kit with the Road Armor equalizers. Their pricing was good and my order was processed quickly.

The upgrade to this heavier suspension brackets gives a sense of safety that doesn't come with the stock brackets from the factory. This brackets are heavy duty and with the grease fittings on the bolts there is less wear and tear on the leaf springs. The upgrade give those of us pulling campers hundreds of miles assurance that the brackets won't fail and potentially cause a serious accident.
ETrailer was fantastic to work with. I ordered the Morryde SRE4000 upgrade and the upgraded heavy duty shackle kit. Both arrived in a timely manner. The shackle kit did get lost by UPS. I emailed etrailer and Stephanie was absolutely fantastic. She was prompt in her email replies. We had a few emails back and forth. Then I even called one time and she answered the phone promptly and answered my question no problem. And she got the replacement order out right away. Yes, I highly recommend using etrailer. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Definitely put in the new shackles wet bolts so you have better greaseability keep things moving
Everything fit perfectly and now with greaseable pins, I don’t expect to ever have any complications with my suspension.

Bushings wore quickly. Spring broke. Trashed all of it and put in the Roadmasrt comfort ride system.
Great kit, included everything I needed. It also includes the fixed spring bolt for the outsides.Seemed well made and arrived fast. Really like how heavy duty the shackles are. I installed the grease zert side to the inside due to having removable fenders and didn't want to catch a zert and shear it off.
I had an issue pressing the brass bushing into the equilizer so may have to see if those are available separately later on. But that was an equalizer issue. If the bushing doesn't go into the new equilizer smooth, ream it with a drill bit first so the bushing doesn't get messed up
I have not installed them yet. But I did receive them today and man they look amazing. I was unaware of the existence of these, even when I was looking for replacement parts. Luckily I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I called in late one evening and received the help I truly deserved!
I was promptly helped to find the items I truly needed. No more worried for me. I had several issues with my order (all my fault) and each one was addressed perfectly.
Ordered 2.25 shackles and get 3 1/8. Website needs to be a hole lot clearer.

The MR76ZR you ordered provides a 3-1/8 inch shackle strap. For a 2-1/4 strap, use # MR46ZR.
I just replaced my factory shackles so can’t say much but they were easy to replace and look like they are going to hold up good very heavy duty.
these are well made shackles and heavy duty compared to the ones on my camper.

after putting these on and lubing I have no more squeaking of the suspension. these are greaseable, so looking for longevitive of these shackles. than you etrailer.

While I haven't truly "used" this product, I did install it. Installation is pretty straight forward. If you own a toolbox and tools, you can install this without issue. I installed this on my fifth wheel that only had a Road Armor equalizer, not the upgraded wet bolts and shackles. I wanted greaseable bolts and the heavier shackles, and this MORyde kit delivers just that! I dinged the review one star as one of the wet bolt grease zerks was snapped at the threads. Likely from being tightened too tight at the factory, or from bouncing around inside the package as the plastic that is vacuum sealed around the parts is not strong enough to contain the parts while in transit.
A must have along the cre3000 equalizers, these are a direct fit replacement. Use the measurement chart, and you can’t go wrong. Built quality is far superior. Actual bronze bushings instead of the plastic OEM ones. Can’t say the trailer feels like it tows any differently, but I’m pretty happy with the results.
This kit is how travel trailer suspension should come from the factory. I haven't yet pulled my travel trailer with the new shackle straps, wet bolts and bushings but I truly believe that I was getting a little bit of trailer sway from the links that came on my 2021 Gulfstream that only has 2150 miles on it. I really just wanted the wet bolts and bushings to get rid of the dreadful squeaking. However, I cannot recommend these shackle straps enough also. All parts are exceptional quality. And to give my statements a little more weight, I'll add that I have over 30 years as a machinist. I'm very, very happy with this purchase.
My PJ trailer with 3500lb axles had 3.5" center eye to center eye shackle straps and phone support said 3 1/8" would work. Assembled fine and have had no issues.
Our RV tows and rides so much better since installing this suspension!
There is no longer any porpoising while towing and I have no worries of ever wearing out the shackles.
They are better than original. They have bronze bushings instead of oem plastic and they are greaseable. The most important part to me is that I was able to call etrailer and tell them about my need for these with the Road Armor and they were able to tell me which set to get. This modification allows me to pull the trailer safely and without issue down the road.

This was my first tandem axle unit. As I was pulling it home, it had such a twitch and shake that I pulled over to check it out. All bolts, etc. looked to be fine. I came across a review of the Road Armor and replaced my existing suspension. I have had zero issues and the trailer pulls smoothly. I highly recommend them.
There's really no comparison as to how much better this shackle kit is. The original plastic bushings were totally disintegrated. Took the 5th wheel for a test drive after installing these and now with the wet bolts installed the suspension is 90% quieter when negotiating my serpentine driveway!

That's awesome to "hear", Tom. I know the clanking of trailer suspension can get loud so if it helped reduce it by that much, I call that a major win!
