Features to know about

Stronger Suspension for Heavy Loads: 6-Leaf Design Handles 7,000-lb Axles

Hauling heavy weight demands a suspension that won’t sag or give out over time. This 6-leaf double-eye spring is rated for 7,000-lb axles, giving each spring a 3,500-lb capacity. The layered steel pack flexes just right to carry the load while keeping the trailer level and steady. It brings back the strength and arch your worn-out springs have lost so your setup rides firm and balanced again.

Smooth Ride on Rough Roads: Flexible Steel Absorbs Shock

Bumps and dips can beat up a trailer—and everything inside it—when the suspension’s tired. This spring flexes through its six leaves to absorb shock from the road and keep the trailer from bouncing or swaying. The 25-1/4"" eye-to-eye length and 1-3/4"" width are tuned for stability, so your tires stay planted and your gear doesn’t shift around every time you hit uneven pavement.

Reliable Fit and Function: Standard 9/16"" Nylon-Bushed Eyes

Replacing a spring shouldn’t mean fighting with hardware that doesn’t line up. Each end of this double-eye spring is fitted with a nylon bushing sized at 9/16"" inner diameter, making it ready for standard suspension bolts and shackles. The eyes measure 11/16"" without the bushing if you plan to swap in bronze replacements later. The fit keeps the spring moving freely through the suspension arc without binding or noise.

Built to Last: Sturdy Steel Construction for Long Service Life

Road miles, rust, and rough terrain take their toll, but this leaf spring is built from tough steel to stand up to years of use. Each 3/8""-thick leaf resists fatigue from heavy loads and constant flexing. With the right hangers and shackle straps (sold separately), it mounts securely to the trailer frame and equalizer for dependable performance that keeps your suspension working the way it should.

These Springs didn't last 3 months less than 2,000 miles before they were all flat and the leafs started to break. I thought they would be an upgrade from the original 6,000 lb Springs since these are rated for 7,000 lbs but they were not even close to as strong as the original 6K Springs. I also purchased these because they stated they were made in the USA and I was hoping for a higher quality than the Chinese made. I have since replaced them with Chinese made 7K Springs from Amazon that were half the price and they are holding up very well.

by:

Product and customer service were great. Product arrived as scheduled.CS answered all my questions and concerns.

by:

Worked out great. Thanks for all the help and return shipping charges

Perfect OEM replacement for our 2019 Grand Design 395 (measure center to center with ALL the weight off the axle). Comes with nylon bushings installed but we ordered the Dexter bronze bushing kit which was also a perfect OEM replacement and fit. Lauren A, our salesperson, was SUPER kind, professional and knowledgeable! Thank you, Lauren, for getting us back on the road :-)

The leaf spring were the correct fit for my tri axle 5th wheel RV I had to reuse my original wet bolts because ETrailer did not send the correct lock nuts with there bolts.

  • Replacement Leaf Spring for 7k Axle that is 25-1/4 inch
Hey Darrel, we actually have exactly what you are looking for with the part # TRU52FR which is for a 7k axle and is 25-1/4 inch from eye to eye. This is also a 6 leaf spring as well. The spring you referenced would be too short.

  • Replacement 26" Leaf Spring Recommendation for 6K Axles on a 2017 Jayco Eagle
Hey George, sorry to hear about your previous experience with your leaf spring setup. I've been stranded on the side of the road because of a trailer malfunction as well and it definitely isn't a pleasant experience so I understand where you're coming from for sure. Picking up some heftier leaf springs sounds like a great idea - I typically encourage people to give themselves some cushion for things like this (suspension and couplers) so you can be confident that loading your trailer all...

  • Upgraded Suspension Parts for 2020 Grand Design Reflection 320MKS
Hey Joe, welcome back! With a 35" wheelbase the MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR29DR is the correct fit. I verified your Reflection has 6k axles on the Grand Design parts site so the # APUBR-8 is also correct and so is the capacity on the # e88SR. Did you account for the leaf springs flattening out over time? Assuming you did, these will work as a replacement with the 26" eye to eye measurement. The shackle strap length isn't listed on the parts site so you...

  • What Info Is Needed to Pick Out Replacement Leaf Springs for Trailer
Hey Levi, when picking out trailer leaf springs you want to base it off the axle capacity of the trailer and the length. You want to go with a spring that's about 1/4 inch shorter in length than one of your old springs when there isn't a load on it as they tend to flatten and stretch over time. So if you can get me the axle capacity of what you have now I can give you a better recommendation. Typically the amount of leaves isn't something to worry too much about for what that's worth.

  • Availability of 7k Trailer Axle Leaf Spring that is 25-1/4 inches Long
Hey Thomas, well I know exactly what you are talking about and the correct replacement spring you would want is the EMCO part # TRU52FR which is 25-1/4 inches long and is for a 7k rated axle. Did you break yours or did they wear out?

  • Replacement Leaf Springs and Shackles for 2012 Eclipse Attitude Toy Hauler
Hey Mordechai! I can help you find replacement leaf springs and shackles but you will have to get some measurements. For the leaf springs you either need to measure the flat length or get the spring eye to spring eye measurement. Both of these are explained in the article linked further down on this page. For example, if you find that the eye to eye measurement is 25-1/4" (accounting for it flattening over time) you can use the 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4"...

  • Where Are TRU52FR Leaf Springs Made?
Hi Brian! No, the EMCO 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4" Long # TRU52FR are made in the USA. These springs have a weight capacity of 3,500 per spring and are a great choice for your toy hauler with 7,000 pound axles. Are you planning scheduled maintenance or doing a repair?

  • What Axle Capacity Leaf Spring for 2018 Jayco Seismic 4212
Hey Timothy, I know the temptation is to go with a higher rated spring since bigger is better. But in reality the correct rated spring will give you a better ride quality since the heavier the spring the stiffer it will be. So instead I would recommend a 7k spring like the part # TRU52FR which will provide a much better ride quality. You do need to make sure you get the right length spring too. The TRU52FR is 25-1/4 inch long and is a very common size so be sure to measure what you have.

  • Do We Have 25" Long, 3,500 lb Trailer Leaf Springs
Hello Jason, The Dexter 072-098-02 are 25" long, 3,500 lb double-eye leaf springs, and while we don't have those specifically, we do have a similar option with the 25-1/8" long 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e54SR. I know these aren't exactly what you asked for but I did want to give you the option just in case they would work out for you.

  • Replacement Leaf Spring for 2017 Eclipse Attitude 2714 Toy Hauler
We do have a 7k axle rated leaf spring with the part # TRU52FR which would work great most likely but it is 25-1/4 inches long so you'd need to verify that is length you'd need as well. This is a very common size but you'd need to measure to be sure.

  • How can I Tell that I Need to Replace the Leaf Springs on My 2017 Fuzion 371 Toy Hauler?
Hello Mike, Great question! You can tell your toy hauler trailer's leaf springs are worn out by looking for several visual and performance-related signs. Visually, worn springs may appear flat or even bowed downward, rather than having their original arch. If your trailer sags, leans to one side, or sits lower than usual, especially when evenly loaded that's a clear indicator of fatigue. Cracks, broken or missing leaves, and shifting or misaligned spring packs also point to failure. You...

  • What AllTrek4000, Sumo Springs, and Leaf Springs do I Need for My 2016 Voltage 4150 5th Wheel?
Hello Nathan, I reached out to MorRyde, and they informed me that the SRE4000 has been discontinued and is being replaced by the AllTrek4000. I went out to our warehouse and was able to confirm that the 35" wheelbase # MR77ZR is indeed the AllTrek4000. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a database that shows what suspension system is installed on specific campers (though it would be pretty sweet if something like that existed), so you'll need to verify your axle spacing. • Need Replacement Leaf Springs For 2018 Montana 5th Wheel With 7,000 lb Axles
Hello Norm. I can definitely point you in the right direction of new leaf springs for your 2018 Montana 5th wheel. Leaf springs are not custom fitted though, so there is no way to know what size spring you need just by looking at the model of RV. Knowing the axle capacity does help to narrow things down, but we will need another piece of information, and that is the eye-to-eye length of the current springs. The best way to measure a spring is to jack up the trailer and measure the spring...

Hey Bradley, in the leaf spring size you have of 26 inch the highest capacity option we have is the part # e94SR which is rated for a 6k axle. • Replacement Leaf Spring for 7k Rated Trailer Axle that is 25-1/4 inch Long
Hey Michael, the leaf spring part # e66SR that you referenced would not work for you as it was designed for a much lighter 2,500 lb axle. • Upgraded Leaf Spring Replacement for 2020 5th Wheel with 6k Rated Axles
Hey Joseph, it sounds like your leaf springs have worn out and would need to be replaced...but since you are wanting a spring that's a bit more heavy duty I would recommend going with the part # TRU52FR as this is rated for 7k axles and is the 25-1/4 inch length you are needing as well. Going with a longer spring won't help at all and would basically just make the suspension bind up.

Hey William, could I get the length of your current springs when there isn't a load on them? With that info I can see what replacement springs you'd need. The two lengths we have are the part # e64SR which is 24-7/8 inches and the part # TRU52FR which is 25-1/4 inches. These are all 6 leaf as we don't have any 7's for this capacity.

Hi Alex! Do you my chance know the capacity of your axles and length of your current leaf springs? This is not something we can find for specific trailers, unfortunately. Hey Donnie, leaf springs typically wear out by mileage and not by age. If they haven't been used much they are going to be just fine but if they are looking flat and worn out then it's time to replace them. Since we know the axle capacity the only other piece of info we need is the length of the springs. Keep in mind that you would want to go with a spring that is slightly shorter than what you measure since they stretch over time. The most common replacement length we offer is the part...
