Question:
Good morning. I have an Arctic Fox 5th wheel 27-5. It has AI-KO Kober axels 6000. Going to do a suspension upgrade. First up new springs. 26 inch centers 1.75 wide. What do you recommend? Actually like a little more capacity as trailer weighs 11,000. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Hey Bradley, in the leaf spring size you have of 26 inch the highest capacity option we have is the part # e94SR which is rated for a 6k axle. If you wanted to go to a higher rating you'd have to look into moving your suspension hangers.
Like if you wanted to go to a 7k axle rated leaf spring you'd want the part # TRU52FR.

Hey Bradley, how did the suspension upgrade on your Arctic Fox 5th wheel turn out? Did the 6k springs give you the support you were looking for, or did you end up adjusting the hangers for the 7k option? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar upgrade.
