This 6-1/2" x 2-1/4" Optronics tail light is made to handle the conditions that would ruin most lights. The housing and red lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, so it stays completely submersible without letting water inside. The shock-proof socket protects the incandescent bulb from vibration and impact, keeping the light reliable over rough roads. Both the lens and housing are made from tough polycarbonate, which resists cracking and damage from debris. Installation is straightforward thanks to the recessed design that fits flush into a grommet mount (A70GB sold separately). It accepts an industry-standard 3-prong plug such as the A45PB or A47PB, so wiring is simple—no splicing or guessing which wire goes where. The light runs on 12V DC power with a 2.4-amp draw for stop/turn and 0.50-amp draw for tail functions.

Well, the unit had no problems fitting into the slot. According to old tag on bad lamp, the new one was about half price.

Attached is a picture of my 1958 Alumniacrafet w/Linex inside, Powdercoat outside, and new oak seats.
I was going to take it on the maiden voyage and realized the lights on the trailer had burned out. Luckily etrailer's website was very easy to use and offered a plug and play replacement.
The parts arrived to NW Montana on time. My wife and I were able to see the Arctic Grayling spawning up Rogers Creek from Lake Rogers in NW Montana. Thousands of fish in a four foot wide, ice cold stream, narrowly escaping a sow black bear that was eating only the cheek fat and leaving the rest for the bald eagles.

Lost light and rubber grommet on road trip with motorcycle trailer. The replacement light and grommet ordered fit well and works great. Easy ordering and delivery as expected. Video was very helpful. Only issue I see is the rubber grommet is not as snug as original, however fit fine.
Needed to replace the taillights on my stock trailer. Great dealing with the good folks at etrailer.com. The taillights I got from etrailer were easy to install and are very bright. I will do business with these folks again!!

Alex let me explain my ratings,the service is very good but it is not easy to rate the product which is a totally sealed product which by the looks of it is fine even so it could have a pinhole which lets water in like one of the units I replaced.So I would suggests you only ask for the rating an the service you provide to the customer and not the product.
