Features to know about

Smooth Parking and Easy Moving: Swivel Design with 360° Wheel

Getting a trailer positioned exactly where you want it shouldn’t mean straining your back. This swivel jack swings up and down smoothly and locks in position with ease, so it’s out of the way when you’re on the road and ready when you need it. The 6" caster wheel pivots a full 360 degrees, making it simple to roll your trailer into tight parking spots, garages, or storage areas. Whether you’re lining up a small boat, jet ski, or utility trailer, the smooth swivel action helps you move it precisely without fighting the weight.

Built to Last: Clear Zinc Finish Fights Rust and Corrosion

Humidity, rain, or salt air can wear out ordinary jacks fast. This one holds up thanks to its clear zinc finish that resists rust and corrosion. The heavy-duty steel construction feels solid when lifting or lowering, and the finish keeps it looking good and working right even after a season of use near water or on the road. It’s reliable gear built for real outdoor conditions, not just the showroom.

Quick Setup Every Time: Bolt-On Mounting with Included Hardware

You don’t need to weld or modify anything to get this jack working. It bolts directly around trailer frames from 2" to 4" tall and comes complete with the bracket and hardware you need. Installation is straightforward with basic tools — clamp it on, snug the bolts, and you’re ready to roll. The sidewind handle has a 6-5/8" radius so it cranks easily without your hand getting pinched, even in close spaces.

Right Height and Strength: 11" Lift, 1,200 lb Capacity

When you’re hitching up or leveling, the jack’s 11" of lift gives plenty of adjustment range. With a 1,200 lb lift capacity, it’s stout enough for small to mid-size trailers, and it raises and lowers smoothly under load. Bracket height moves from 12-1/2" retracted to 23-1/2" extended, giving you the clearance and control you need on different surfaces.

Small Details that Make a Big Difference: Durable Wheel and Smart Design

That spoked 5-3/4" diameter wheel isn’t just for looks — the wide 2" tread keeps rolling steady when the trailer’s loaded. The jack’s compact size keeps it from looking oversized on smaller frames, and the swing-up design eliminates interference with tailgates or toolboxes. It’s the kind of simple, sturdy hardware that just works every time you reach for it.

Within in a day I had a response with the correct jack and they shipped it that day. Got it 2 days later installed at the lake today, it works perfect. These guys and gals know there stuff. Jack is working great. Make about 30 trips to the lake this year. Great product!!

by:

Serviceable, but as with all for this style of jack I have had over the years, it becomes loose at the pivot joint if you do anything more than simply hold the tongue up.

by:

Trailer jack did the job, easy and smooth winding even though trailer has a heavy tongue weight. The 11 inch lift is a good height adjustment.

by:

Seems well made and installed without i ssues

by:

Product met needs and arrived in a very timely manner.

by:

This Jack is the perfect fit for any trailer and makes it so much easier to move around on smooth surfaces.

by:

Easy to put on, works as designed. Boat rolls real nice with it.

by:

nice alternative to expensive jacks

by:

Worked out perfectly

by:

Got it installed. Could have used a 2nd pair of hands however it appears like it will solve the issue of having to lift the trailer up. Very happy with it

by:

The swivel jack w/wheel was exactly what I was looking for...it is being used on my ATV wagon...the swivel jack has a large wheel for easy maneuverability...large load capability...

by:

Arrived without the parts that attach to the trailer. Now have to follow up on that. Super frustrating especially since it should be attached to the jack and clearly wasn't.

by:

Well made, easy install.

I’m still glad that I bought it.

by:

I purchased my Mj-1200B trailer jack last year for my DJ equipment trailer. The quality is great and more heavy duty than I probably need for a small 4x6' trailer but I couldn't be without it. No issues what so ever and so I'm very happy with the purchase!

by:

So this boat trailer had an Atwood jack and the mounting bracket was actually welded on the frame. Got lucky as the round hole after removing all the mounting hardware fit on the welded bracket. Had to drill out catch holes but all is well!

by:

They did what they said they would do. Everything was on time and the jack was easy to install.

by:

Very nice! Very easy to install. I never thought it would be so easy to reposition my boat in the garage. Moves so smoothly raising/lowering my trailer on/off my hitch. My only wish is that I would have replaced my old jack sooner! I highly recommend this wheel jack...

by:

Easy install, fast shipping

by:

Great service! I needed to replace the trailer jack on my pontoon boat trailer after it jumped the chocks, rolled down a hill and came to an abrupt stop in a ditch. Only damage was the trailer jack. Googled the jack, found replacement, ordered and delivered all in same week. Got it today, easily replaced and now good as new. Thanks, Amy & etrailer!

Wow! Really happy to know you only had to replace on part! :) I'll be sure to send Amy your review too :)

by:

Excellent quality. Sturdy construction. All correct hardware included. We bought this to replace an almost new unit that came from a local parts chain. Same price ,but poor excuse of a product.

by:

Cheap fix for a heavy problem! Worked p erfectly!

by:

This jack was a great replacement for the one on our two jet ski trailer. Joy T was super helpful in answering my questions.

The unit is beefy. I wanted something just above the minimum I needed this was perfect.

The only issue I had was that because the part of the frame where I can mount this is only 1½" deep, the 4" long cap screws that came with the unit were just a bit too long -- there was too much non-threaded portion. I just used the 3" cap screws that I already had and it was just fine. Not a problem per se, but something to be aware of.

by:

Although I didn't use the jack on a trailer, I did install it on my log splitter. This splitter is heavy and was a two man job to get it off the ball mount, pull a pin to lower the front arm and then re-install the pin. Etrailer had all the dimensions for mounting. Everything worked out perfectly. Thank you etrailer. I also want to thank William S of etrailer for giving me updates on my order.

The jack looks fantastic on your log splitter Wayne! I was helping my brother in law split wood about a year ago, I have never stacked so much wood in one day in my entire life! Definitely a good work out =)

by:

The trailer jack arrived well packaged and in good shape. All hardware was in the box and install was pretty easy. Simply find a proper mounting location for the jack. The brackets have several holes so you can properly line up the jack. A 9/16” socket and wrench is all you need to complete the install. Having a jack the rotates out of the way when not needed is a major plus. The jack operates very smoothly making lifting the jack up and down a breeze.

Glad to hear you are liking it, Jonathan! These are definitely more convenient than fixed jacks. It looks like this was put on a boat trailer? What kind of boat do you have?

@LazerS I have a 17’ 1989 Sea-Ray BR 160. The boat belonged to my father-in-law who purchased it new in ‘89. My wife and I were gifted the boat. We rebuilt the motor and made a few upgrades. She enjoyed the boat for many years as a young girl with her father at the helm. We now enjoy taking our kids out on that same boat. And actually out at the same river.

  • etrailer Boat Trailer Jack Mounting Bracket Measurements
Apologize for the confusion Chris, I can clarify. This is an error on our website, we'll get that information updated. The # MJ-1200B clamps around the frame, so it can adjust to different sizes as long as the frame height falls between about 2" and 4". Because of the adjustable bracket, it typically works with: 2" x 2" frames 2" x 3" frames 2" x 4" frames Up to about 3" x 5" rectangular frames We advise measuring your frame height and width to confirm fitment. How do you typically...

  • Replacement Bow Roller and Winch for a 1999 Shoreland'r Trailer
Hey Jaime. We've got quite a few bow rollers that are definitely going to fix your black marks problem. If you have a 3" wide bracket with a 1/2" shaft, I recommend the CE Smith Bow Roller Assembly with Bells item # CE29334. It's made of durable PVC and comes with a 3" main section and two side bells for keeping your boat aligned. The CE Smith Bow Roller item # CE29334 is 6" long overall and mounts to a 3" bracket. I do not know how wide the bracket is on your Shoreland'r trailer so you'll...

  • Looking For Replacement For Older Center-Stud Mount Trailer Jack
Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out. What you’ve got there is that older Shelby-style center-stud mount, and unfortunately there isn’t a direct replacement jack still being made that will drop onto that welded plate. Fulton used to offer something similar, but those have been discontinued for quite a while, so there’s not really a current “bolt-on” option for that setup. At this point, the cleanest way forward is to switch to a standard jack that uses its own mounting bracket. Something like...

Hey James, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we do have a replacement for that. The 203960B number that you pulled from your jack is a label number. That label was used on two different trailer jacks with a 1250 lb weight capacity, sidewind jack # 6814 and topwind jack # 6817. If yours is a sidewind, I recommend replacing it with the following: - etrailer Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel - Sidewind - Swivel - 11" Lift - Zinc - 1.2K # MJ-1200B Is your Dutton jack a top wind of sidewind? • Looking For A-Frame Trailer Jack With 2" OD Tube
Hey Clark, thanks for reaching out. The 2" OD A-frame jacks are pretty uncommon these days. Right now, we carry only one jack with a 2" OD tube, the A-Frame Trailer Jack # DL22530. The problem is, when this jack is fully retracted, the tube sticks down 8-1/4" below the frame. Based on the setup you are describing, this would not work for your trailer since it would sit too low and probably scrape the ground. If I were you, I'd look at swapping out the A-frame jack for a side mounted jack...

Hello Harriet, We do not offer a trailer jack with a retracted height of 9" or 10" like you need, but a sidewind jack can work, the Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # MJ-1200B. It isn't strictly a jack for boat trailers, of course, that's just the title, and it has a retracted height of 12-1/2" and you can swivel it up when you aren't using it for better clearance.

Kelly, the RAM jack MJ-1200B is the same thing as the etrailer # MJ-1200B. The discrepancies in the outer and inner tube measurements (3/8") are what we measured, versus what the original manufacturer measured. Sometimes the manufacturer measures one thing, but when we get our hands on it and re-measure it for our site we get a different measurement, which I believe is what you're seeing here.
