Long drives can get noisy when wind hits square-edged bars. The JetStream aluminum crossbars are shaped to cut through the air smoothly, helping reduce wind noise and vibration. The rubber strips in the top channels fill the gaps to keep airflow clean, so you get a quieter ride without the constant whistling overhead.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips just to mount your gear, but this setup keeps it simple. The push-down strips in the top channels let you press your carrier hardware right into place—no trimming or fiddling required. Once installed, the strips close back up around the mounts, sealing out wind and weather while keeping everything neat and tight.
Whether it’s kayaks in summer or snow gear in winter, these aero-style crossbars fit most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. They handle channel-mounted or clamp-on accessories, giving you the flexibility to use the gear you already own. At 50" long with a 165-lb weight capacity (always observe your vehicle’s maximum roof load), they’re ready for road trips, camping weekends, or everyday hauling.
When you want to keep your setup secure, you can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately. They help deter theft of the rack so you can leave your vehicle parked at a trailhead or hotel without worry. It’s an easy upgrade that adds another layer of confidence to your travels.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
