When you’re loading up for a trip, you want bars that can handle your gear without flexing or rattling. The Yakima SightLine Roof Rack includes two JetStream aluminum crossbars built for strength and stability. They support up to 165 lbs while keeping weight low, so you can carry your kayaks, cargo boxes, or bikes securely and confidently.
Long drives can get annoying if your roof rack starts to whistle. The JetStream aero-style bars are designed to slice through the air smoothly, reducing drag and noise. The built-in rubber strips press down into the top channels when you mount accessories, sealing gaps that could create vibration or whistling. You get a quieter ride without having to trim or fuss with extra pieces.
Mounting accessories can be tedious when you have to cut strips to make them fit. These crossbars skip that step completely. The push-down strips let you press mounting hardware directly into the channel without trimming. When your gear is off, the strips pop back up, keeping the bars sealed and clean.
If you leave your rig parked overnight or while exploring a trail, you can protect your setup with Yakima’s Same Key System lock cores (sold separately). Once installed, they deter theft of the entire rack so your crossbars stay put wherever adventure takes you.
From paddleboards in summer to skis in winter, this rack handles all kinds of attachments. The crossbars pair with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. You can keep using the gear you already have and pack more of what matters for every trip.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
