Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Counteract Single, 12 ounce bag of tire balancing beads. Now the Counteract balancing beads are the economical way to balance your tire and wheel assembly for the lifetime of your tire. And these beads are designed to be installed inside the tire. On the zoom-in, we'll show you.

This is the bag you'll receive. And when you get your bag, what you'll do is tear open the top, like I've already done here. And then dump out what's on the inside. And we're gonna go through all these parts. This includes a 12 ounce bag of balancing beads.

It includes this vortex valve core and then the two different valve caps, one's a self-sealing valve cap and the other one is a double seal flow through the valve cap. Now the beads themselves are made of a coated glass sphere. The balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner liner of your tire and they won't clump together regardless of excess moisture. And these are TPMS compatible. They are environmentally friendly construction.

So they are reusable and recyclable beads. And the way these work, let me just pull up a little insert there just to show ya'. Basically, once your tire begins to roll, this bag will break on the inside and the beads will get distributed round its interior of the tire, thanks to centrifugal force. So as that wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire, will pull up a down on the vehicle suspension and this will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction to that pull. And those beads will continue to migrate, until there's enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot of the tire, to balance your tire out.

Now tire balancing beads will continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your trailer, your truck, or your off-road tire. They do reduce vibration and ensure even wear to increase the life of your tire and it'll even improve fuel economy. They are a very easy installation, all you have to do is throw this bag into the tire when it's removed from the wheel or inject the beads in through the valve stem. The beads do remain inside the tire and they won't come loose to contaminate the environment and they won't cause any damage to your wheels. One note I do want to mention is if your tire has internal TPMS sensors, you will need to break down the tire to install these beads. This application for this 12 ounce bag is 19 and a 1/2 inch to 24 and a 1/2 inch heavy truck tires, 19 and a 1/2 inch to 22 and a 1/2 inch trailer tires, and 15 inch to 22 inch off-road tires. Now in order to correct the amount of beads needed for your application, what you'll need to do is get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your trailer or your vehicle, and then match it to the tire sizes. That'll be listed on the product page for that size bag of beads. They do offer many different size bags of beads. This one's a 12 ounce, they do have four ounce, six ounce, and they go all the way up to about a 20 ounce bag. And even on your product page or each one of those part numbers, it'll list the tires it'll work in. Now also in order to reduce the possibility and everything, valve leaks, the use of this Counteract valve core, an either one of those metal caps are recommended in place of the original valve core and cap. And they are included in every bag of Counteract beads. These parts are made in the USA and it is for a quantity of one bag of beads for one tire.
