Nothing ruins a trip faster than loud wind noise or a rack that feels unstable. The JetStream crossbars are built with an aerodynamic shape that helps cut through the air smoothly. The push-down rubber strips fill the top channels to reduce wind noise and vibration. The result is a quieter, more stable ride whether you’re driving to the lake or heading across the state with your gear on top.
When you need to haul serious gear, these aluminum bars handle it with confidence. With a 165-lb weight capacity, there’s plenty of strength for cargo boxes, kayaks, or camping gear—just remember to stay within your vehicle’s own roof load limit. The sturdy aluminum build gives you dependable support for every trip and keeps things light enough to manage easily during setup.
No matter what you’re carrying, the JetStream design keeps things simple. You can use the top channels for channel-mount accessories or clamp gear directly around the bars. That means one rack can handle cargo boxes, bike mounts, kayak cradles, or ski carriers without extra adapters. The rubber strips in the channels press down to make room for hardware—no trimming needed—so swapping gear is quick and easy.
If you want to leave your rack on overnight or park at a trailhead, it’s ready for Yakima’s Same Key System lock cores (sold separately). Once added, they deter theft by locking the BaseLine towers in place. It’s a simple upgrade that keeps your setup secure when you’re not around to watch it.
You can count on this system to hold up year after year. The aluminum construction resists rust and wear while keeping weight low. Each crossbar measures 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall, giving you a balanced mix of strength and clean lines. Yakima backs it all with a limited lifetime warranty, so you can focus on the adventure instead of worrying about your rack.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
