This Yakima BaseLine system gives you everything you need to start hauling. It includes two 60" JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit for a secure setup on a naked roof. The aluminum bars are strong enough to handle up to 165 lbs, so you can confidently load kayaks, cargo boxes, or camping gear on top.
Long trips are better when you don’t have to deal with wind noise. The aero-style JetStream crossbars help cut down on drag and vibration while driving. Rubber strips in the top channels seal around your mounted hardware to reduce noise even more, keeping your ride calm and steady mile after mile.
Mounting gear can get tedious when you have to trim strips or fight with inserts. These crossbars use push-down rubber strips that let you press your accessories right into the track—no cutting required. The strips close back up around the mounts to keep things neat and clean while protecting against wind and weather.
From kayaks and bikes to cargo boxes and ski carriers, the JetStream bars are compatible with most universal mounts. Whether your gear clamps around the bar or slides into the top channel, this setup gives you the flexibility to bring the equipment you want for every season.
When you’re parked at a trailhead or stopping overnight, you can add Yakima Same Key System lock cores (sold separately) to deter theft of the rack. It’s an easy upgrade that keeps your setup secure wherever the road takes you.

Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.

The roof rack came packaged nicely and the instructions were simple to follow. I installed it in about an hour and we have already used it this past Memorial Day weekend. My wife loves the way it looks on her Mazda. Much better than the factory rack
Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.

Easy to install and sturdy. I carry a 9' pontoon boat on my camper shell using this rack at freeway speeds with no problems.
So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.
We had to wait on stock a little longer than expected BUT etrailer kept me informed of the progress. Once I received the products installation was a breeze thanks to the instructional videos.

Work exactly as they should and hold everything securely to my vehicle without interfering with the car’s normal operation. etrailer had best prices based on my research. These bars are much quieter than traditional round bars and worth the added expense.
Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.

My roof rack was for my Prius V. Following all directions, the roof rack went up fine and fits tightly...no worries there. And, the rack just seems too far forward because it slopes down. I can probably adjust this out by widening the front slightly and pushing the whole rig back maybe 6" to a foot.
Basically, it is a workable rack and salvages parts from an older rack. It does what I want.
I waited several weeks for roof rack to arrive after ordering online. I am accustomed to Thule racks, but could not find any towers/bases to fit the 2019 Santa Fe. Once here, the Yakima rack mounted with ease and I look forward to hauling kayaks or basket on the roof.

Customer service was excellent, they called me to tell me one item was backordered and how long it would be. Package was shipped with enough packing material. Install was pretty easy, some of the Yakima measurements in the manual are a couple inches off but no big deal. This will be used to carry a box for when the family takes trips. Can pile all the luggage up top and have more room in the car. I would recommend the Yakima corebar roof rack and etrailer! Their price was lower than 2 other sites I checked.

Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.
