Question:

I have a 2019 Honda Passport Touring with Factory installed roof rails. I am looking for a cross bar system to attach. I was looking a Thule and it appears they have a version with a strap that runs underneath and another that mounts directly to the roof rail. When I put my vehicle info in the model with the strap shows up. Is there a m,odel that will mount directly to the roof rail without the rubber/steel strap looping through/around the rail? Thanks

Since your 2019 Honda Passport has raised rails the roof rack feet that fit it are the ones that wrap around the bars whereas the flush bar roof styles are the ones that have options that attach directly to it. So for a Yakima there is the Jetstream part number # Y00429 and # Y33TR which is an aero shaped bar setup that wraps around your raised rails. This is a very solid setup that will work great and is no less reliable than any other option.
