Spare tires larger than 18 inches will not be able to be stored under vehicle after hitch installation. No drilling required for installation , Spare tire will need to be lowered or removed temporarily for hitch installation , Exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation , Hitch may interfere with the Hands-free Liftgate sensors and functionality may be very limited or possibly lost.

My hitch went all the way to east coast before coming back to Nevada. As a result the box was full of holes. The powder coating was worn thru in several places. The holes did not allow for me to install the mount. After filing the holes I finally got the hitch mounted. Now there is no way to mount the spare tire.

I recommend to use a rust-oleum spray paint to cover any scratches to prevent corrosion in the future but I will have customer service reach out to you about the damage. This particular hitch only fits with spare tires that are 18 inches or smaller.

It took a bit if persuasion to get the hitch to fit. The mounting points weren't aligned. It works and is solid.
Also worthy to note that the packaging is terrible... It arrived in a cardboard box with no protection. 3 holes punched through where the brackets are and were all obviously scratched up as a result.
It doesn't affect the performance of the hitch but if I'm buying something new, I just feel like it should be free of flaws.

2019 Acura RDX
The instructions say you have to remove the spare to install the hitch, but it does not tell you that once the hitch is installed you cannot reinstall the spare.
The slots in the hitch that correspond to the holes/nuts in the chassis were too short. I had to extend the slots by about 3/16 to be able to get them in.
The flanges that fit inside the chassis were too wide to allow the hitch to fit in between the anchoring locations. I had to use a hand sledge to bend them so it would fit.
All in all a bad experience. For something that should have taken 30 mins to install, it took nearly 90 minutes and resulted in my losing my spare tire!!!

This fits with factory temporary spare tire which is normally 18 inches. The other issue sounds like flex which can be fixed with the tips in this article:

Love it. Sturdy and perfect fit to my 2019 Rdx. Would love it more if there was a way to make it more oem flush to hide the arms behind the defuser panel, but i cant complain. the product works just as it's described.

Was a little hesitant to order this and install myself. Was not exactly an easy install…but definitely doable! Removing the rubber vibration pieces to the exhaust is a knuckle buster especially when not lifting the vehicle! BUT, one it in fit well, and am SUPER happy I did it myself! Excellent quality, on-time shipping, and an A+ company to deal with. HIGHLY recommended!
