Hi Chris- I saw you answer on the question for a 2017 prius V roof rack with panoramic glass roof. You recommended the Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack, which consists of parts # Y00421, # Y28TR, # Y06117 and # Y06174 I have never installed a roof rack before and Y06117 and # Y06174, both look like the same clips. If I order one of each part above is that all I need to install my roof rack. Thank You -

For your 2017 Toyota Prius V with the panoramic roof, I do recommend the Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack System that you referenced. This system consists of # Y00421 for the two 50 inch CoreBar Crossbars, # Y28TR for the BaseLine Towers and the # Y06117 and # Y06174 Fit Kits.

This will give you everything you need to install the roof rack on your vehicle. Each part number consists of the quantity needed for your application, so you will just order one of each. The two Fit Kits, # Y06117 and # Y06174, are indeed very similar. The difference is simply in their individual designs which match them up to the contours of your Toyota Prius. The # Y06117 is intended for the front of your vehicle, while the # Y06174 will fit the rear of the vehicle's roof.
