I've had no issues.

by:

Well built....very good quality welds.

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

by:

I think you guys should send me some ap parel!

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Worked perfect on our recent, extended trip to Alaska and back.

by:

Solid as stone!!

by:

I welded this up on my 2004 GMC converted school bus, it worked great with minimal bumper notching

by:

Great product. Fast delivery

by:

Works great!

by:

Brent was amazing with his attention to detail. He made sure I received the correct hitch and a follow up on my delivery. Thanks again

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

it was nice product to buy put it was to small had to return it and i order a bigger one thanks etrailer

by:

Great product. Super faster shipping. Excellent customer service

by:

I called to ask what was the inside dimension of the big square and it was said to be 4 1/2" square, that wasn't even close, it was 3 5/8" square.
But I was lucky I needed 3 1/4 square. I'm modifying this to fit my fisher plow bracket so I have a front hitch to use around the yard. Nobody makes one. I own a machine shop so by getting this saves me a lot of work. So by receiving the wrong info I rating you less than EXCELLENT

  • Trailer Hitch Compatible with Liftgate Truck
We have many hitch options for a truck that has a lift gate, but very few of them are a simple bolt on custom application. Because the locations for attaching lift gates vary, you will need to use a weld on option like the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15903. There are many different bracket options for a hitch like # 4907 and # 4916.

  • Trailer Hitch for a 1987 Chevy V10 Pickup Step Side Short Bed with Sport Bumper
Your 1987 Chevy C/K pickup, V10, is the 1/2 ton 4x4 model. The standard suspension on it was not the heavy duty suspension. The rear gross axle capacity would have to be rated at 6,000 pounds for the HD suspension which was an option for the V20. The spacer blocks are # 01077-011 and they are sold individually. I am not sure what the Sport bumper looks like so I had to look it up. It is not a standard/step bumper so if that is truly the case then hitch # 75034 would not fit properly....

  • Dimensions Of Brackets Included In Curt Class V Weld-On Receiver 15903
The mounting plates included with the Curt Class V Universal Weld-On Receiver # 15903 you were looking at are slightly different that the 16" Weld-On Bracket Kit # 4916 you mentioned. Our warehouse measured the # 15903 brackets and they measure 18-1/2" long x 9-3/8" wide overall, 16-1/2" from the bottom of the bracket to the top of the lower notched area, and 11-3/4" from the top of the crosstube hole to the top of the lower notched area as shown in the included diagrams.

  • Option for Hitch for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 With Roll Pan Bumper
I checked all hitches for a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, and each of them are designed to fit with a standard factory bumper, so there are no options for custom fit options. That means the best alternative that might work is a universal weld-on hitch, the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15903. This requires a completely bare metal surface to weld on and is for frames up to 60.88 inches wide. I have added a link below to the installation instructions for you to check out as well.

  • What Vehicles Does Curt Trailer Hitch # C11265 Fit
The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11265 is a confirmed fit for the 2003-2018 Toyota Corolla and then just the Sedan model of the Corolla for 2019. For replacement hardware you can use our part # RHK. Trailer hitches like this are custom-designed to fit specific vehicles, so there's not usually a large range of models that any single hitch will fit unless you're looking for a more universal weld-on style like the Curt # 15903.

We offer universal fit hitches that fit many different vehicles. To add a class IV or V hitch to your 2013 Chevy express 4500 Cutaway from the hitches we carry, would require the hitch to be welded in place. I recommend the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch Item # 15903. This hitch fits frame rail spacing from 18" apart up to 61" apart, has a 1500lb max tongue weight with a 15000lb gross towing capacity, a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening with a 5/8" hitch pin hole. • Trailer Hitch for a 1966 Chevy Impala
While there aren't any custom hitches that will bolt right up to your 1966 Chevy Impala we do have universal hitches that could work. The best option is going to be # 15903. This is a weld-on hitch so it will need to be installed by a professional welder. It will fit your 50 inch wide frame (it may even have to be trimmed shorter!). I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. We also have a similar hitch from Buyers, # 3371801051, which has shorter brackets.

  • What Universal Hitch do You Recommend for My 2002 International 3800/IC School Bus?
From the specs I have available for your 2002 International 3800/ic bus, there are a few different manufacturers for that particular model. With that being said, I could not determine the frame width of your particular model you have. In order to know for sure if the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # 41990-16 will work on your bus, it needs to have a frame that does not exceed 44 inches wide. We don't offer a bolt-on hitch that would offer the capacity you're looking for, but we do offer some weld-on options that would get you where you need to be. In order to choose the correct hitch, you'll need to determine the amount of drop you need by measuring the vertical distance between the underside of the frame members and the lowest point of the rear bumper.
