What a great hitch for a great price. I attached this to the rear of my Freightliner FLD-120. What a beast! The perfect hitch! Thanks

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

The hitch looks good! The hitch itself is rated to tow up to 15,000 pounds however it is limited to the frame and or bumper capacity that the hitch is welded. So if the RV is only rated to tow 11,000 pounds then that is what you would want to go by.

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

It works beautifully. Pull an f250 with yhis behind a class a rv. Tows well.

I called to ask what was the inside dimension of the big square and it was said to be 4 1/2" square, that wasn't even close, it was 3 5/8" square.
But I was lucky I needed 3 1/4 square. I'm modifying this to fit my fisher plow bracket so I have a front hitch to use around the yard. Nobody makes one. I own a machine shop so by getting this saves me a lot of work. So by receiving the wrong info I rating you less than EXCELLENT

by:

Easy installation and after one year of heavy use, still going strong!

by:

Heavy duty hitch. Easily installed. However I am a welder fabricater with 30 years experience.

by:

This is a very heavy duty hitch. Haven't gotten it mounted yet, but looks to be of good quality.

  • Front And Rear Trailer Hitch Options For A 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Passenger Van
Hello Brad, thanks for reaching out. The Draw-Tite # 75601 that you mentioned will fit a 2024 Sprinter 2500 with the 170" wheelbase. Please note that this hitch will not fit models with 30-3/8" wide frame when measured outside to outside. The frame width is the only real stipulation for fitment so please do measure and confirm this. As long as your frame is not 30-3/8" wide this hitch will be a great option for carrying a 4 bike rack on the rear of your van, It has a 500 lb tongue weight...

  • Front Mount Hitch Option For 2004 Nissan Xterra
Hello Geoff, thanks for getting in touch. You are correct that there is no custom fit front hitch for the 2004 Nissan Xterra. I do have an option for you, but we do not have our custom fit hitches classified by the bolt hole spacing. So, there is no way to look up which hitches fit this specification short of going and physically measuring every hitch we offer which is not possible. Even if there is a hitch that meets that spec, there is no guarantee of fitment. A universal hitch will be...

  • Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For A 2019 Nissan Titan Pro 4x
Hi Kevin, There unfortunately isn't a custom-fit front trailer hitch receiver for your 2019 Nissan Titan Pro 4x so you'd have to go with a universal-fit weld-on trailer hitch like I have listed below. These will all come with a specific drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to see what size drop you'll need in order to clear the front fascia. These will fit an 18" to 44" wide frame width and any excess can just be trimmed off of the crosstube. Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16"...

Hey Mike, Both the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU99FR and Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87FR would be fighting for the same space on the frame rail where the tow hooks sit so they would not be compatible together. There isn't another custom-fit hitch but you could go with a weld-on adjustable-fit trailer hitch and work with a local fabricator shop to get it sitting right and welded to the frame rails. We offer a few different drop lengths that you can use as a rise or drop...

Hey Steve, For a 2017 F-53 chassis we currently only have weld-on universal fit style trailer hitches available. Each of these would fit 18" to 44" wide trailer frames and would come with brackets that can give you a different drop depending on your needs. You'll want to measure down from the frame to determine where you want the receiver tube to come out to avoid hitting the fascia. • Can A Hitch Extender Be Used With A Front Mount Trailer Hitch To Park A Travel Trailer
Hi Don, Hitch extenders place a lot of stress on the hitch because you're leveraging the weight further out so using one typically drops the capacity by 50% when towing. You'd be doing it in a parking lot situation where you wouldn't really be traveling much just more so maneuvering around so realistically that shouldn't affect you but depending on how much weight you're leveraging there could be a breaking point, we just wouldn't be able to know exactly what that point is.
