Perfect quick delivery, exactly what was needed, it came undamaged and being such a heavy item I thought it would have some scratches or something wrong with it, but it was packaged so well it came in perfect condition, thanks etrailer great job

by:

We live full time on the road in a converted school bus. I have also converted one for a friend. I always recommend etrailer.

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

by:

Worked great for my custom application. Placed behind my custom bumper as a hidden hitch.

by:

Curt Class V receiver received complete and as advertised. Now, to get it installed by welder/ installer on '03 Newmar Dutch Star.

by:

Well made hitch, very adjustable, and easy to install. No problems towing my 30' cabin cruiser with my new-to-me Semi-tractor. Exactly what I was looking for.

by:

Excellent product, just what I needed for a modified flatbed installation

by:

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

by:

The product was as described and worked fine.

by:

Solid and sturdy

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

Extremely high quality product, very happy with my purchase. Shipped quickly, I received it before the estimated time. One more side note, the shipping box was damaged while in route, (Not etrailer's fault) but because they did a great job packing it, everything was still in the box even though half of one side was torn off the box. I will defiantly be a repeat customer!!

by:

Great product. Fast delivery

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

  • Can A Hitch Extender Be Used With A Front Mount Trailer Hitch To Park A Travel Trailer
Hi Don, Hitch extenders place a lot of stress on the hitch because you're leveraging the weight further out so using one typically drops the capacity by 50% when towing. You'd be doing it in a parking lot situation where you wouldn't really be traveling much just more so maneuvering around so realistically that shouldn't affect you but depending on how much weight you're leveraging there could be a breaking point, we just wouldn't be able to know exactly what that point is. As far as mounting your 472-pound motorcycle along with the 52-pound Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 on your hitch rated for 500-pound hitch, you should definitely upgrade the hitch. This is because it is extremely dangerous to exceed the rated weight capacity of your hitch. While we do have a great option for you, the only Class IV universal hitch we carry is specifically constructed to be used with service vehicles. That is the Buyers Products # 3371801053. • Will The Draw-Tite Trailer Frame Hitch Receiver Fit A 1974 Chevy K5 Blazer With A Gas Tank Shield
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver 75129 should fit with any OEM parts but just to be used I went out to the warehouse and measured the hitch. From the back of the crossmember tube to the center of the first bolt hole is 1". The distance between the inside of both mounting ears is 30-1/4". This hitch should sit directly under your frame rails so you can use that 1" measurement to see if the tube will run into interference with your gas tank shield. If this doesn't work then...

  • Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver Option For 2023 Thor Challenger Motorhome on Ford F-53 Chassis
We have a couple options for a heavy-duty Class V hitch, and while there is not a custom-fit option for your Thor Challenger motorhome on a Ford F-53 chassis, you can still add a weld-on hitch. From my research, the rear frame on the F-53 chassis is 34 inches from outside to outside, but you'll need to measure the distance you need from the bottom of the frame to the top of the receiver. • Class V Hitch With Drop For 34 Inch Frame Rails on Custom Truck
We definitely have some options that will work for you, though in regards to the specific hitches you asked about, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15300 is 36 inches between the bolt holes, while the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15410 measures 34 inches between the bolt holes. So neither is going to fit 34 inch wide outside-to-outside frame rails, which makes sense as these are custom-fit hitches. What you can use instead is a universal weld-on hitch that doesn't require that specific...

I can tell you what Curt lists as the capacities for their # 15901 and # 15902 hitches. You are correct, they both have 12k capacities. The only other capacity you will need to look up is the capacity for your RV. If it is at least 12k then you could take full advantage of the hitch's capacity assuming they were installed correctly. This info should be in the RV owner's manual.

Both of these hitches are semi-universal so they'll fit a range of frames, both have a 2" receiver opening, and are both assembled in the USA.
