Question:
I need a tow hitch for my 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Im not seeing one on your website. If I got a measurement of the inside of the frame, could you help me identify one?

Hi Holly,
There unfortunately aren't any custom-fit hitches confirmed to fit your 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 so you'll have to go with an adjustable-fit weld-on trailer hitch. These come in a variety of drop lengths to help you clear the rear bumper/fascia so you'll want to measure down from the frame to see how large of a drop is needed for the receiver tube to clear.

7" Drop # 41990-07
16" Drop # 41990-16

9" Drop # C47CR
10.865" Drop # 15902
11-1/2" Drop # 15903
18" Drop # C99CR
If you plan on towing a trailer then you'll also need to install a trailer wire harness like the Tekonsha Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # 119190KIT.
