This is exactly what I needed. After trying a couple of 'hardware store' pin locks that didn't fit, Savanna and Amy at etrailer customer service found the right part for me.

I purchased this to connect my new Curt Tray-style Bike Rack (model # 18085) to my new Curt Custom Fit-Class III- 2", Trailer hitch (model # 13530). All of this went on my 2008 Lexus CR350 SUV. I was concerned that was not listed to fit the Curt model hitch and bike rack but it was exactly what was needed to keep. My new equipment locked. I could not be happier. I was able to install everything by myself in minutes. Everything was a perfect fit and now I am ready to take my bikes anywhere!

Awesome!! Online shopping at your site was very easy and having the detailed measurements right with the pictures helped out a lot. I purchased this lock to lock my new Curt bike rack onto my Subaru CrossTrec. I first contacted Curt and they said that they did not have locks. I came across your website and found this lock that fits perfectly. Item arrived a day early even with the Memorial Day Holiday. Thanks

Did not work. Threading different then my bike rack thread. Sitting in the toolbox. Never used it.

Comments
Many bike rack manufacturers produce threaded anti-rattle locking pins for their bike racks, and most of them will only work with racks produced by that particular manufacturer. The list of racks that this lock is compatible with is provided above in the product description.

Thread pitch will not fit my bike rack threaded adaptor. Never could use it.
Darin S - 05/07/2020

The thread on the SportRack Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers part # SR0901 is proprietary so it only works with the SportRack shanks of their products. If you let me know which brand bike rack you have, I am happy to assist in finding the correct part.

Great lock. Anti-rattle. Purchased Curt bike rack & etrailer hitch. Getting into bike riding for exercise. Rack came anti-rattle pin. But did not lock. Researched & seen lot of others had problems finding aftermarket locking pins with matching threads. Called & spoke with rep. Found pin & guaranteed match with Curt bike rack. Fast delivery. All worked out well. Very satisfied with customer service.

Easy to install and use. Much more expensive than other locks though. The slide piece that covers the keyhole doesn’t stay closed on mine, but it’s not worth the effort of exchanging it.

this hitch locking pin SR0901 is used to replace the unlockable hitch pin came from my sport rack 2 bike carrier SR 2901, with this locking pin I feel safer in use. And satistically from customer response this locking pin SR0901 has no break down record to date. ( The unlockable pin A30901 LHP have been mentioned two times by customer due to breakage ).

CORRECTION:THE LOCKING PIN I SELECTED SR0901 IS THE PIN REPLACING THELOCKING PIN A30901 WHICH HAS A BREAK DOWN RECORD BUT ITIS NOT PART OF SPORT RACK 2 BIKE CARRIER PACKAGE SR2901

Bought this for the lock only to replace the one I lost for my SportWORKS bike rack. Sportworks was purchased by Thule, and SportRack is also owned by Thule. Confused? Thule kept much of the Sportworks design, but lowered the quality to save money. Thule changed some parts so you have to buy Thule. One of those parts is the locking hitch pin. If you have a Thule bike rack, you must use the Thule hitch pin. Luckily, I only lost the lock, not the 5/8 diameter Sportworks hitch pin. This SportRack lock is almost a perfect match for the Sportworks I lost. It looks exactly the same, except it is rectangular, while the one I lost was round. Unfortunately, it seems of lesser quality- the key cover is loose and rattles partially open, and one end of the lock is not sealed with the plastic cover because it is also used for the SportRack cable lock and that is where the cable is attached. While I may lose another lock, I probably won't lose the pin. So, I am ordering another one of these for a backup lock. Hopefully, the key cover will be tighter. I am also trying the Swagman hitch pin with 5/8" threads and see if I can use that for a second bike rack on my other vehicle.

Would have been nice to have all locks on one bike rack match. Thule made them all different. Not just a different code, I mean the keys are completely different! Now I have 3 keys for 1 rack

Comments
Thule has quite a few different lock cores. Its more secure for their customers that way an owner of a particular bike rack, can access every example of that same model. You can purchase a core kit from Thule and replace the locks so that you have a matching set on Thule products. They do not necessarily carry over to be used with Sportrack.

I bought this as an aftermarket replacement and the product performed thge same as the factory original. etrailer support was knowledgeable and effective, assuring that I had selected the right product for my needs. Service was great and delivery was as promised. It was very easy to do business with them.

This purchase was a replacement for a lock purchased at a competitor. That lock was supposed to work with our bike rack, but did not. We then purchased this lock from etrailer. The lock has worked great (just as advertised). We are very happy with both our etrailer purchases (we also purchased the bike rack from etrailer). We would recommend etrailer to a friend and will definitely purchase from them in the future.

After reading the reviews for the Curt Premium 5 bike rack, the experts said that this would fit and work well. Purchased this to go with my Curt 5 bike rack and it worked excellent. Gave me the great piece of mind that my rack was secure to my vehicle. Nice looking product and easy to use. Worth every penny. Would definitely purchase again.

The Thule Bike Rack Thread is not metric and what you send is metric. Unfortunately I bought it a year ago and did not use it until last weekend and had to buy a "normal" Screw to fix it.

Comments
Although Thule owns SportRack, the bike rack hitch locks from Thule and SportRack are NOT interchangeable. Since you have a Thule bike rack, youd need to go with a Thule hitch lock, which is part # THSTL2

I intend to buy many future products from this company. Thank You

I would definately recommend this hitch lock. It is well constructed. The cover which slides over the key hole should help prevent water and dirt from getting inside the lock. Having it gives me the piece of mind that my bike rack wont be missing when I am done riding the trails.

etrailer Review. Good afternoon, I had bought a bike carrier 3 years ago and lost a part. Called etrailer and within 2 minutes customer service gave me the part number and cost. Unreal fast real good service! If I had bought the $300 carrier at a bike store the store would have not a clue! The service representative was efficient, accurate and knowledgeable. This was my 5 purchase for different items from etrailer and nothing but 5 Stars! Thanks, Tony L
