After spending on a deluxe hitch a locking receiver is a must. This one looks like it will do the job.
Before ordering the locking hitch pin online I spoke with etrailer customer service. Extremely helpful customer service. I ordered the product for a 2015 Tundra Platinum. Pin was oversized like I needed, and was not a problem. Put a couple of rubber washers on each side of the pin to help with the slack and noise caused by vibration. Works like a champ. Love the key system on this pin. I would recommend it for Tundra owners who have the oversized heavy duty factory hitch on their truck. Etrailer shipped the product very quickly and had excellent follow up communications after the sale. I would not hesitate to buy from etrailer again.
Yea, so 9 months later I had to sawsall this thing off my truck. Don't love that.
Purchased the hitch due to getting a new 2024 GMC 2500HD AT4 and did not want to risk denting the tailgate on first use. A buddy purchased the same truck and quickly learned he had the wrong hitch! Arrived quickly, well packaged and fit like a glove. Thanks again,
Fits our hitch well has a clean and clever locking system (took me some time to discover that it is threaded and needs to be screwed on and off with key).

Very nice design for a 2.5" Receiver. The key locks a threaded connection, not a gate type lock. My old Master Lock froze up terribly over time. I hope this will not, but time will tell. Looks good on my 2017 F250 Super Duty.
It fits perfectly into my hitch. The original item was extremely tight I needed WD40 to get it onto the hitch. This one is so easy, it must be 3/16" of an inch smaller. Plus the longer length is very convenient.

The hitch receiver lock works great and I got it next day which was great because we were heading on the road the following day.
This receiver lock is very convenient, I like the way it threads on and locks.
Locking end threads onto pin. Seams very secure. I have 3 for my hitch setup and all 3 are keyed alike, which is a must.
Worked good each time, but the screw together locking system is strange the first time I tried it. It doesn't line up easily to remove the key. But once I figured it out, it seems ok.
Once I read the directions and understood how the hitch receiver lock worked it was easy to put on and worked exactly as described. Etrailer was outstanding to purchase from. Excellent videos to explain options and recommendations. Very communicative via email and chat and shipped quickly. Had the ball mount and locking hitch receiver pin within 3 days and etrailer confirmed when shipped and the receipt. Locking pin worked perfectly and as described to secure the ball mount and prevent any chance of theft of the ball mount.

Overall feel of the pin is great, feels heavy duty. Once installed was very easy to tighten down with the key and feels a lot better than the typical locking pin. Time will tell how it lasts in the long run but so far I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to keep their hitch secured.
