Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this InfiniteRule Trailer Coupler Lock Kit. Now this trailer coupler lock is going to prevent your trailer from being stolen when they are not in tow. This ball is going to fit most one in seven eighths inch, two inch and two and five 16ths inch ball couplers. And this is going to fit up to a four and a half inch wide trailer tongue.
Now let me go ahead and give you a demonstration of how you can use this on your coupler to lock it up. So right here I have a two inch ball coupler, and what I wanna do is just show you how this is gonna work. So this is set up right now for a two and five 16ths inch ball. I'm gonna go ahead and unscrew the top part here, and just set that aside. This is going to allow me then to insert this into a two inch ball coupler or one in seven eights inch ball coupler.
And this is mounted here with this bolt. So I do have that on there tight. And so I'm gonna take my two inch ball coupler, fit that over there, and then close the trigger mechanism. And so as you can see, I have it attached there. But now to lock it up, I'm gonna go ahead and set this on top.
And you do wanna make sure that the left LL and then the right RR match up, just to ensure that you have the correct orientation. And if you notice here, this does feature multiple locking positions to help accommodate for most coupler contours and latches. So you wanna make sure that you get the tightest fit possible and then match up the appropriate holes. So what I need to do is unlock this lock to run this through. So I'm gonna go ahead and take one of the set of keys here, insert this.
And then I'm just gonna turn the key counterclockwise and basically unscrew this. And then that's going to unlock this. And as you notice, we do have this weatherproof rubber cap that's going to protect the keyway from debris and water and things like that. So I'm just going to keep loosening this up. And then that's going to open up this locking pin, just like that. If you notice, we do have a O-ring here that's going to protect the internal components, again, from water and debris. So I just wanna make this as tight as possible. Obviously, this is gonna be a whole lot easier to do when you actually have this on a trailer. So it looks like this hole is what I'm gonna run this through, this set of holes here. So I'm just gonna match it up here just like that. Looks like I'm through. And then to lock this back up, then you would just put this back on and then tighten it down with the key. But I'm not gonna do that. I just wanted to show you what this is going to look like. So as you can see, this is tight. It's not going to allow any play to release this trigger mechanism here at all. And so this is going to do a great job of making sure that your trailer is secure when it's unattended. It has this really nice, bright orange color. So it's going to provide visible theft deterrent. The idea is a would-be thief is gonna see that and not even bother with it, knowing that this is going to be nice and secure. So that's what it's going to look like when this is locked and secured. And then when you're ready to unlock this, again, you're just going to remove this end of the locking pin with the key. And then I'm just gonna go ahead and remove this, just like that. And then lift the trigger up. And then that's going to allow me to remove this from this lock. So I'm really impressed with just how well this works, how smoothly it operates, the design. And this is gonna be very easy to use and also very flexible. So this is gonna work with your two and five 16ths inch hitch ball. And like I said, that's gonna work with your two inch, and then your one and seven eighths inch hit ball. So let me set that aside. Now this also includes a flush style coupler lock that's going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler to deter theft, so that your trailer can't be removed from your tow vehicle when locked onto the ball. So when you have this connected to your, in my case, two inch ball. I'll go ahead and put that on. Close this. So I'm currently coupled to my two inch ball. This is what I'm going to use then to secure it onto the ball. So let me go ahead and grab my keys here. And again, the concept is going to be the same. You're just going to stick the key in, turn it counterclockwise to loosen it. And then that's, as you can see, the lock is coming undone. And then I'm gonna run this pin through the hole right there. And then I'm gonna go ahead and put this back together. And then I'm gonna turn this clockwise to tighten up the lock. As you can see, it's coming together. And I just wanna make it as tight as I can. And then what I did not show you on the other lock here, to remove the key, you probably can't see it from that distance, but you just wanna line up the key with the nearest set of hash marks around the ring. And then that's going to allow you to remove the key and close that up. And now my coupler is secure onto my two inch ball. And again, another theft deterrent. This is going to prevent someone from easily coming by and removing your trailer from your tow vehicle. So a really great setup. And so you got a way to lock your trailer up when it's not in use, and then a way to lock it up when it is in use. So I'm gonna go ahead and remove that. Put these back together. And if you know anything about InfiniteRule products, they're very well-designed, well-built, very robust. And they're stainless steel, so they're gonna hold up really well for you. I'm gonna go ahead and put my coupler and my two inch ball away here. You are going to get six keys. They're all gonna be keyed alike. And then you're also going to get this flush style hitch lock that you can use to secure your ball mount or your accessory to your two inch or two and a half inch hitch. So really just a complete setup here. I'm gonna go ahead and lock this back up. And you're gonna have a way to make sure that you're always going to be secure. You're not gonna have to worry about someone coming by and taking what's yours. This is gonna be a great investment to secure your items. Everything here is made in the USA of heavy duty stainless steel. So again, it's gonna hold up really well for you. Corrosion resistant. Again, six keys. And you're gonna get these locks. And I think it's gonna be a great system to consider. It's basically a all-in-one kit to make sure that everything is secure. And it's gonna be very easy to lock up and very easy to remove when you're ready to go. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
