Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the six-foot long 7-Way RV Style Connector with the molded cable for your trailer end. Now, this is a pre-wired seven-way blade style trailer end connector that'll let you connect your trailer to your vehicle. This will replace a damaged seven-way RV style trailer end connector.It has a nice flexible cable, so it allows for easy positioning. And it is a molded cable. The covering insulates and protects the wires from the elements.
You'll notice it has the nice finger grip for easy connect and disconnect of the cable to your seven-way socket. And this wire does meet the SAE standards.It's a very simple installation. On this end, you just hardwire this to your existing trailer wiring. And the wiring codes they use are RV standard. So basically the white wire here is for ground.
That's a 10 gauge size. The black is for the 12 volt power, which is a 10 gauge size. The blue wire right here is for electric brakes, 12 gauge size. And then the other four remaining ones are all 14 gauge size. The green is for the tail lights.
Yellow is for aux or reverse lights. The brown is for right turn and stop. And the red is for left turn and stop. Again, the cable length on this is six feet. But that should do it for the review on the etrailer six-foot long 7-Way RV Style Connector with the molded cable for your trailer end..

I used this harness to replace portion of wire harness on the tongue end of my boat trailer. Great quality product. Made it easy to go from a 5 pin to a 7 way and eliminate the need for an adapter.
Dont understand why the wire color did not match the standard trailer colors. Yes it came with a wire drawing but why not standard?
Well made and less expensive than competitors. The wire colors are industry standard. The length is plenty and any longer would be a waste.

Fast shipping,knowledgeable staff and good quality products
Very high quality trailer whip. I like how the plug is sealed tightly to the cable. It appears to be water tight. Makes swapping out damaged cables very easy, when connected into a junction box. I like to preserve the contact finish by spraying with a battery protector product yearly. My only complaint is the cable gets very stiff in the cold.
If it had pre soldered connectors that would be a 5 star
Perfect fit, easy to install. Made the extremely annoying issues with power cutoff on the Cybertruck, caused by corroded old plug, completely go away. [and yes,, the Cybertruck has a stupid digital controller that if it sees an issue, cuts off the trailer power completely, leaving you with no lights in the dark…]
