Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the hitch lock in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.
Installation
The 3 hitch locks included with this set are interchangeable. Use one lock as a hitch lock to secure your BulletProof adjustable ball mount to your hitch. A second lock is used to secure your ball mount platform to the ball mount, and the remaining lock is used to secure your pintle hook or other accessory to your ball mount platform.
Locking pins have held up great. The rubber grommets are still on and protecting the key holes. Highly recommend them!

Nice set up. But am a little concerned with the rubber boot over the key hole. Once dirt gets in it could be a problem. Especially in my line of work in landscaping.

The pins feel like they are solid and strong.
My opinion they might be long enough for someone to break one end off and take everything. I also think that if they were made with less to no play and let the lock tighten everything down they might be more secure. That is the reason it got 4 stars and not 5.
After having a few different styles of locking pins, these have become my favorite. On my other ones, you had to guess if the end was locked on properly. These provide a positive lock because you actually turn the locking end into threads. It seems much more secure and I feel it is a much better design, not so much for security, but knowing it will not come apart during towing.
Looks to be excellent quality. I can lock my hitch extender, my bike rack and my cargo carrier securely and only have to carry 1 key! (was doing this with 3 separate locks and would fumble thru all 3 to lock and unlock.) Many Thanks!

I think this company must build anvils, and military tanks as well. Bullet Proof ball mounts are impressive, to say the least.
Very well crafted parts. It took me a minute to figure out the key system. Insert the key and torn it like a screw until it’s close to tight then pull the key out, done! (Don’t over tighten!)
