As always this product from etrailer was as good as expected. I have a 2015 Jayco 1209 SC Tent Trailer and the jacks that came with it folded like paper when I went to stabilize the trailer (I did not attempt to use them for leveling). I ordered these from etrailer and they came quickly and were perfect. They self tapped onto the frame of the trailer easily and when I used them they leveled the trailer out and stabilized it with such ease. I would also like to note that even though I can buy trailer products in Canada, when I really need something I need to be a sure thing I always go to etrailer and I am yet to be disappointed. 578220

Product came when it was suppose to was not difficult to put on the frame You must realize I am a 74 yr old woman and did this by myself. The shocks were for the front of my trailer. 540474

Product arrived as promised, on time and in excellent condition. I am eighty years young and I have a tough time mounting my luggage rack to my Honda C RV trailer hitch receiver. Thus the need for the scissor stabilizer jacks. I mounted 1 each on the left and right side of the luggage rack, then with the ultra-fab stackable stabilizers, I use at the front under the rack tongue, the other under the back of the rack. Now, when I am ready to load or unload the rack I simply use my 14 volt drill motor with the ultra-fab speed socket power drill adapter to raise or lower the rack to the receiver height and just pull it off or push it into the receiver. Over-kill? Yes. But it serves my needs! The jack handle works great too, but that's work and I'm not used to it. All is well. 539422

Ask the Experts about this etrailer Camper Jacks

  • Mounting Hole Spacing of etrailer and Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks
We do have an option for you, but I have added the mounting hole spacing dimensions of the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle - 18-3/4" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJSCHD-24, and as you can see, none line up exactly with your pre-drilled holes, although it is close, with two of the holes measuring 5-3/16" apart. The jacks that do have the spacing you need are the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs # UF48-979002, which have the two closest bolt holes at 5" apart as you can see...

  • Stabilizers for 1991 Coleman Shenandoah Pop-up Camper
If your Coleman Shenandoah pop-up camper trailer still shakes when you walk around inside it you can add more stabilizers to supplement the OEM swing-down jacks. When it comes to keeping a camper steady more points of stabilization are better so I suggest keeping what you have and simply adding more jacks. If you want to permanently mount additional stabilizers you can use scissor jacks like # UF48-979031 (3-inches of lift) or # TJSCHD-24 (18-3/4-inches of lift). If you want to avoid...

  • Fit of TJSCHD-24 Stabilizer Jacks on 2016 Forest River Sunseeker 2450S Motorhome
The etrailer.com # TJSCHD-24 Scissor Stabilizer Jacks are a universal-fit item, so it should fit just about anything. The jacks would bolt to the underside of the frame members of your motorhome. When closed, the jack is 26 inches long, so if you can find a suitable mounting point on the underside of the trailer frame that's 13 or more inches inboard of the side of the motorhome, the jack will install without extending past the side of the motorhome. I've linked you to a product description...

  • Measuring Frame Height for Leveling Jacks
Measure from the ground to your trailer frame when it is level and you'll know what you would need to level your trailer. The scissor jacks part # TJSCHD-24 can provide up to 18-3/4 inches of lift so they would be a good option if your frame height is below that figure.

  • Recommended Jack to Lift a Trailer to Change a Tire
Trailer stabilizer jacks like # TJSCHD-24 are not designed to be used to lift a trailer and hold it up for maintenance. Their purpose is to stabilize the trailer while it's parked and no more. What you're looking for is a jack to hold the trailer in the same fashion one would hold your car to change the tire. For this we have several options like the Buffalo Tools # BTEJ212 which has a maximum lift of 14 inches and can support up to 2,000 pounds. If you need an option with a higher...

  • Recommended Camper Trailer Stabilizers for 2017 Livin Lite Quicksilver Tent Trailer
Any trailer jack or stabilizer has to be mounted to the frame for it to provide upward stabilizing force without causing damage to the exterior/non-structural parts of the camper. The swing-down type jacks on your 2017 Livin Lite Quicksilver are convenient but they do not provide the fine adjustment you can get from a scissor jack. The Atwood stabilizers have extension holes that do give you a range of adjustment but this is limited to the spacing between those holes. A 2-piece scissor...

In order to help stabilize your 2001 Fleetwood Wilderness Travel Trailer I recommend using two sets of the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle part # TJSCHD-24, one of each side of the trailer as this will provide the most stability. These jacks are easy to install and might even use the same holes as the jacks you have now. They offer up to 18-3/4" of lift and have a 2,500 lb per jack rating. If you really wanted to fully stabilize the trailer then you could also add a set of the Super...

  • Can Trailer Stabilizer Scissor Jacks be Used to Lift a Trailer
Scissor jacks for trailers such as # TJSCHD-24 are used for support but not lifting applications. For lifting I recommend using a bottle jack such as # ALL620471 and then using a stabilizer jack to support the trailer at the proper height. Bottle jacks are great since they don't take up a lot of space and still have plenty of capacity.

  • Leveling Scissor Jack Recommendation for a 24 ft Class C RV
Considering the weight of your 24 fot Class C RV these Leveling Scissor Jacks, part # TJSCHD-24, should work very well for you. As far as the stability of these jacks, like you said, you will want to have the wheels blocked so that if the jacks are down the trailer will not be able to roll. And for side to side stability, as long as the terrain is within reason you should not have to worry about side to side stability. These jacks are pretty heavy duty and should provide you with enough...

  • How To Choose the Correct Trailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for an RV
It sounds like you might be trying to pick out a set of stabilizer jacks for your trailer. Once this is done you can then measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame where the stabilizer jacks will mount. These jacks have a 4-1/4" collapsed height and 28-1/4" extended height to give you 24" of lift. The Leveling Scissor Jacks #TJSCHD-24 that you referenced would do an excellent job as replacement stabilizer jacks.
