  • What Size is the Drive Nut on the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # TJSCHD-24
I went out to the warehouse to measure the drive nut on the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # TJSCHD-24. From wrench flat to wrench flat it is 0.72 inches so just a hair under 3/4 inch and just a hair above 18mm.

  • Replacement Stabilizer Jacks For A 2017 Keystone Bullet 29RKPR
Hey John, There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us what bolt pattern you current jacks have but w can still find the right replacement. I'm seeing the GVWR of your trailer as 7,690lb so the Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 with its 2,500lb capacity would be more than adequate. I've attached a diagram of the mounting brackets so you can check to see if it matches your current setup. If not you can shoot self-tapping screws into the frame with the new pattern or unbolt the mounting...

  • What is Difference Between etrailer Scissor Jacks TJSCHD-24 and e56VV
Hey Rick, there's not a huge difference between the # TJSCHD-24 and the # e56VV that you referenced. Basically it's the mounting bracket bolt hole dimensions being a little different designed. The lift and capacity is the same aside from that though so either is going to work well for you. I like the limited lifetime warranty of the # e56VV though so that would be what I would go with.

  • What Size Jack Should a 3,000 lb Trailer Use
Hey Bill, sorry to hear that happened to you - but for a 3,000 lb trailer you should be aiming for a jack that has a 4,000 lb or better capacity. Something like the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle # TJSCHD-24 would work prefect for you because it's got a nice 5,000 lb capacity. If you need anything else, or have any other questions feel free to leave a comment and I'd be happy to help!

  • Recommended Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for a Travel Trailer
Hey Ric, thanks for the information! To add a set of scissor jacks to your 2015 Shasta Airfylte trailer, I recommend our etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle and Drill Adapter item # e64RV. These four jacks attach to the corners of your trailer and provide adjustability from 5" to 29". They can be raised or lowered with the included hand crank or drill bit attachment. Each jack has two 6-hole plates built into the top for versatility in attaching them to your trailer. What kind...

  • How to Determine if Scissor Jack Will Fit Camper
The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24, which also comes in a 2-pack # TJSCHD-24 and a 4-pack # TJSCHD-24-4, is a universal fit so you would need to double check our measurements to ensure they fit your travel trailer. When they are collapsed they measure 5" tall and then they can extend up to 23-3/4" tall to help stabilize your trailer. I am attaching a link to our returns policy that you can reference in regards to your question about a possible return.

  • Will Stabilizer Jack Leg Fit in MaxxTow Adjustable-Height Ball Mount
I went to take some measurements for you and found the leg of the Square Drop Leg Stabilizer Jack # SJ-R208 measured 1-1/4" outside to outside of the leg itself and 1-1/2" for the mounting bracket. The tube portion of the MaxxTow Adjustable-Height Ball Mount # MT70068 that accepts the ball mount measures about 2-1/2" from outside to outside and 2-1/8" inside to inside. So the stabilizer jack leg would physically fit inside the ball mount; the only issue is that the pull pin from the stabilizer...

  • Recommended Jack to Lift a Trailer to Change a Tire
Trailer stabilizer jacks like # TJSCHD-24 are not designed to be used to lift a trailer and hold it up for maintenance. Their purpose is to stabilize the trailer while it's parked and no more. What you're looking for is a jack to hold the trailer in the same fashion one would hold your car to change the tire. For this we have several options like the Performance Tool Electric Car Jack # PTW1609 which has a maximum lift of 14 inches and can support up to 4,000 pounds. If you need an option...

Please note, the handle is sold separately as part # TJSC-24-HD but it's included if you purchase the pair as part # TJSCHD-24 for the 4 jack set as part # TJSCHD-24-4. • Leveling Scissor Jack Recommendation for a 24 ft Class C RV
Considering the weight of your 24 fot Class C RV these Leveling Scissor Jacks, part # TJSCHD-24, should work very well for you. As far as the stability of these jacks, like you said, you will want to have the wheels blocked so that if the jacks are down the trailer will not be able to roll. And for side to side stability, as long as the terrain is within reason you should not have to worry about side to side stability. These jacks are pretty heavy duty and should provide you with enough...

We do have an option for you, but I have added the mounting hole spacing dimensions of the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle - 18-3/4" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJSCHD-24, and as you can see, none line up exactly with your pre-drilled holes, although it is close, with two of the holes measuring 5-3/16" apart. The jacks that do have the spacing you need are the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs # UF48-979002, which have the two closest bolt holes at 5" apart as you can see...

  • How To Choose the Correct Trailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for an RV
It sounds like you might be trying to pick out a set of stabilizer jacks for your trailer. If that is the case then what you will want to do is park your trailer on flat-level ground and then level it. Once this is done you can then measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame where the stabilizer jacks will mount. If this distance does not exceed 18-3/4" then you can use the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle part # TJSCHD-24. If this distance does exceed 18-3/4" then you can add...

This gives better suspension support that translates the best into improved handing, comfort, and support. Scissor jacks like the part # TJSCHD-24 will do a great job supporting the RV when parked too. • Can Scissor Jacks Be Mounted Directly In Line With Trailer Frame Beam
The Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle # TJSCHD-24 are typically mounted perpendicular to the beam but you can definitely still mount them inline with the beam. The only problem you might run into is trying to get it mounted to the frame since the brackets might not line up well with the flange of the beam, but you can just have them welded in place and then you won't have to worry.

  • What is the Difference Between a Stabilizing Scissor Jack and a Leveling Scissor Jack
There is no difference, that is just what the manufacturer decided to label it as. They both do the same job. The only thing that you really need to keep an eye on is the weight capacity of each as these kinds of jacks are not meant to lift weight, just to hold it.

Bottle jacks are great since they don't take up a lot of space and still have plenty of capacity.
