Great product. works just fine. The problem I had was matching the mounting plate under my trailer. Apparently not a standard so I had to take it to a trailer manufacturer to make it fit.

Well the modification to the mounting plate is a permanent fix. The only thing I have to worry about is driving across deep pot holes where the trailer would damage the stabilizer.

by:

They went on a custom made trailer build that’s not yet in service. Seem to function as advertised.

They work very well. They make using the trailer when not coupled to vehicle. Very sturdy.

Working very well no issues

by:

Found what I needed easily, received the package quick, the product was definitely better/stronger then the stabilizer it replaced, and the price was good.

by:

I've bought one of these before from etrailer as a replacement for one I trashed on a 4WD trail. It was essentially identical to the original and has worked very well. This one is the same product and I expect the same performance. It also arrived within a couple of days of my order, which I appreciate. I recommend this product without reservation.

by:

Threads on one r-pod 202 jack stripped. I ordered two replacements. The replacements fit the original brackets. This was good since one of each was spot welded on. Heavier with much more coarse threads than the original jacks.

by:

Works great, smooth operation, was able to reuse the mounting screw holes on my 2014 rpod.

by:

Same as the original equipment. Fits well, fast delivery. Thank you etrailer.

by:

This is a much sturdier looking stabilizer jack than the original one I'm replacing. The only possible issue is that the frame bracket where it mounts on the two plates is about 1/8 inch wider than the original. I was hoping to use my original plates but I think I'll need to use the plates that came with the new jack. Anyway, those plates are also different (slightly larger with the mounting holes spaced differently) than the original but it is a much better product so I will make it work.

I used ground freight for shipping to reduce the overall cost and i still received this in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company etrailer.

by:

I purchased these stabilizer jacks to replace two original jacks that were damaged. My original jacks were mounted at the extreme end of my frame rails and were repeatedly damaged when driving out of service stations with deep curbs and driving to remote camping sites. I was easily able to place both these new units farther forward to remove this hazard. I was able to position the jacks where I wanted and hold them in place to bolt on by raising them jacked up to place mounting bracket against the frame. Simply then used self tapping screws and job was complete.

by:

These scissor Jack's are much better than the factory ones. I bent my original stabilizers last season. These Jack's are much more heavy duty than factory. These have multiple mounting holes so just zip them in on the frame with self tapping screws. Easy install.

by:

Great price, lightning fast shipping !

by:

Had to replace one of my jacks after a little "incident" when backing in my camper. This replacement is the most trouble-free jack on my camper to this day. It never binds up, doesn't squeak, and is definitely more solid than the other three. Not too hard to install either. Would buy again!

by:

Lucky I found the identical stabilizer jack at etrailer as the other three on my trailer. Same size, looks, and capacity to replace the one that got bent during a minor collision

Great!

by:

Great product! Although, it did not fit our current RPod bracket. Had to grind of old bracket and purchase new self tapping screws since I don't own a welder.

by:

Always does what it's supposed to. ("Excellent would be for "and delivers esspresso too."

by:

I’m not 100% satisfied because I was expecting better quality for the price. However, they do their job if you have a 20’ travel trailer like mine. I suggest if you have a bigger trailer go get the heavy duty version.

by:

These were a perfect replacement. They got here quickly! Thanks!

by:

Bolt holes lined up perfectly. Replace the two rear jacks in 30 min easy job. New jacks seem to much better quality than originally installed jacks and they were the same weight capacity.

by:

Selection and speed of delivery are top notch, etrailer has saved me hundreds of dollars by my being able to by the parts I need for my trailer and fixing things myself. Thanks for being there

by:

Jacks work well

by:

It isn’t possible to determine the bolt hole configuration for mounting the jacks onto the trailer using the web site. It would be very helpful if a template in a pdf file were on the site that would enable you to print the template and verify proper configuration and alignment prior to ordering.

by:

Best purchase for my camper! Easy to install and hook up. It works great.

by:

Installed 4 total in place of the arm style stablizer. Very happy, mechanically work great, look great, and the camper is very stable. Much more than before.

  • Scissor Jack Options With A Low Retracted Height
Hello Al. The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 has a retracted height of 5". Meaning if the current jacks are at 5-3/4" you will gain 3/4" of clearance. if you are looking to gain as much clearance as possible, I suggest you take a look at the Leveling Scissor Jack Set # JSC-30. These have a retracted height of 4" and will be the "shortest" scissor jacks we offer.

  • Can Middle Rod in Scissor Jack be Replaced
The middle bolt that extends/retracts scissor jacks is unfortunately non-replaceable so you'll have to replace the jack(s) entirely. This is because if that bolt needs replacing then more times than not the whole jack is messed up and it's safer to replace the whole thing. Here are our etrailer-branded jacks in different quantities: Single - # TJSC-24 Pair - # TJSCHD-24 Set of 4 - # TJSCHD-24-4 These jacks are rated for 5,000 lbs and have a 18-3/4" lift. The Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail and Landing - Double - 7" Drop/Rise, 20-1/2" Tall # EHS-102-R does not require a stabilizer. It is a strong step with a weight capacity of 350 lbs. I've attached some videos to assist. The stabilizers like # JSS-4, # JSS-7, and # JSS-85 are available for people who want a stronger and more stable step with the load capacity of 750 lbs. That weight capacity is only directly over the stabilizer, but it more than doubles the capacity.

  • Is New Mounting Hardware Needed For The etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TSJC-24
I typically just reuse the same hardware as long as it isn't rusting out and the threads are still good when swapping out scissor jacks, like the # TJSC-24. Scissor jacks typically won't come with any hardware so if your current hardware is trashed then you will want to pick up some new self-tappers. Most scissor jacks will have a minimum of 2-bolts/screws per mounting bracket but if your frame allows you can use 4 per bracket. On I-beam frames the center of the beam typically blocks some...

The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24, which also comes in a 2-pack # TJSCHD-24 and a 4-pack # TJSCHD-24-4, is a universal fit so you would need to double check our measurements to ensure they fit your travel trailer. When they are collapsed they measure 5" tall and then they can extend up to 23-3/4" tall to help stabilize your trailer. I am attaching a link to our returns policy that you can reference in regards to your question about a possible return.
