Today we're going to be taking a look at the Lippert Components 30 inch scissor jack. This is available as a single jack with part number LC285332. Now that part's going to come with one jack and one set of hardware. This is also available as a two pack with part number LC285344. Now that part comes with two jacks, two sets of hardware and that part also includes a manual crank handle. Again, that's the two pack only, available right here a etrailer.com. This is system is going to provide a cost-efficient way to stabilize your RV or trailer.
It's going to help reduce rocking and swaying when your trailer is parked. It's a manual stabilizer jack that features an easy bolt-on installation. The unit's made from a steel construction with a powder coated finish on it. It's going to do a great job at resisting rusting, corrosion and lasting a long time. I want you to get a good look here at the mounting plate. It's got multiple holes that go around there.
Those holes are two different sizes. The hardware that they provide is 3/8th inch diameter hardware for the larger hole. With the mounting plate, steel construction, nice design. It's actually going to give us a diameter measurement from edge to edge. Right around 9 inches.
This is going to offer up to a 30 inch rise or a 30 inch lift. I took a measurement of the jack with it fully retracted, so measured from edge to edge not including the connection point for the crank handle. I got a measurement of around 31 inches or so, and then including the crank handle it extends that measurement out to about 32 inches. Now if you have this mounted to your RV, camper, trailer, it's going to be great for a variety of applications. Right now it's fully retracted so it's going to hang down or have a retracted height or depth measurement, measuring to the bottom of the plate, of about 4 and 1/4 inches. It's a nice design, a nice low profile design as well for a stabilizer jack.
The foot plate is a nice large design on it so that's going to do a great job at spreading out the applied weight. Even on softer surfaces it's going to help prevent sinking, providing great support. That's going to give us a length measurement of around 9 inches, and then that's going to give us a width measurement of around 4 inches wide. Nice design. Low capacity. It's going to be 5,000 pounds per jack. Please keep in mind that these jacks are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight. They're not designed to support the full gross vehicle weight rating of your trailer so you want to be careful not to use these jacks to lift your trailer or RV. Doing so is going to exceed the capacity of the jacks. The last thing I want to show you is how easy it is to crank it. Again, the crank handle is only included when you purchase the set of two. You place that on there. It's got a nice, easy grip design, easily extends. That's going to use a standard warm gear mechanism. Again, it's going to provide that 30 inch lift or 30 inch rise. That's going to do it for today's look at the Lippert Components 30 inch scissor jack.

While I am not real sure how the original jack on our 5th wheel was damaged the one I received from eTrailer was a perfect fit! Hopefully this one will last as long s the first one did...(I am assuming that it was the original). Thanks eTrailer for being a great source for information and parts!

Easy to order and promptly delivered. Easily removed broken stabilizer Jack and replaced with the new one. If you don't want or have to change the base plate. It's just two bolts to put on existing mounting plate.

Just finished installing. The bolt holes on trailer frame were not quite perfect for top of stabilizer but I managed to get them tight. Quality seems very nice. I've seen people at RV parks use cordless drill attachment to screw up/down stabilizers but product says warranty void if you do. I believe if you use drill to lower or raise and you get too tight the 26" screw will bend under the pressure. that's what happened to my old stabilizer I suspect by the previous owner. You can't repair these if bent. I would purchase again.

Have used these jacks for a season and have ran them up and down many times across several states. They are over double the strength of the original ones and should serve well for many years. When they were installed most of the bolt holes lined up with the originals but I did install 3/8s bolts instead of the 5/16 used by the factory. Even with this update of bilts the install went very smooth.

I may have over-bought. The old jack was rusty and damaged, so I measured the length of the screw. The new jack is the same size exactly, but MUCH heavier gauge metal. I had to drill out the existing holes to 5/16" to accommodate the self-tapping screws that came with the new jack. The new screws went in with no trouble. The new jack adds a couple pounds to my dry weight, but it is very sturdy. I don't expect that I will ever have to replace it. The paint/coating is very smooth and thick.

This is an excellent product. They are twice as heavy duty as the stock ones I replaced. You can really feel the difference inside the camper. In the spring I plan to replace the back ones. My order arrived promptly from eTrailer.

Added these to stabilize my Forest River V-Lite 36' camper with 3 slides. With the existing Lippert electric stabilizers, the camper rocked severely when someone walked around in it. These jacks were just the ticket. I use them about 8-10' in from the ends on the frame. The array of holes on the jacks allowed me to angle them at 45 degrees. This helped the swaying and rocking. Love what they have done for us.

It would be nice if Lippert would enclose some directions and tips, such as the diameter of the drill bit needed and that clamps are needed to hold the flange to the frame of the RV prior to drilling the holes.

I bought this product to replace the original equipment electric LCI stabilizers that came on my 31ft travel trailer as they performed poorly from day one and eventually stopped working all together. I removed the existing stabilizers and installed all four of these in about an hour. I reused the existing holes and hardware. My camper has never been this solid. Couldn't be happier. This is not my first experience with etrailer. I have been buying from them for years. They are up front with availability, have great product knowledge and are very accommodating when I am not so thrilled with a product..........which is not the case with this one, I wish my camper came with these to begin with.
