Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a quick look at the Demco hydraulic brake line kit. So this is going to help you get your single axle trailer hooked up with your brake line, so you can have that proper hydraulic brakes function on your trailer, making everything a little bit more safe. So if something happened with your old brakes, or maybe you're upgrading your trailer to a new hydraulic system, this is going to be the kit for you. So basically I'm just going to go over what comes in the kit to make sure that this is going to be the right setup for your trailer. So our long line, our mainline, is going to be 15 feet long or 180 inches of steel brake line. And then we'll also have a 72 inch long brake line.
This is going to go to the far side of our axle, and then we'll have a shorter piece, goes to the closer side, that's going to be 30 inches long. Now we have a flexible brake hose, this is going to be about 18 and seven eighths, or just about 19 inches long. That's going to help to move with our trailer. So as our suspension flexes, this will as well, keeps everything a little bit more safe there. We'll also have our hose bracket, our retainer clip, some brake line control clips, they're just going to be little clips that go around our brake line to help hold it up as it goes down our trailer, a few self-tapping screws for each of those clips, we also have a 3/16 brake tee, so that's going to tee off our brake lines so we can run everything appropriately. And then we'll also have a 0.125 flow connector.
So this is going to drop the flow down to an eighth of the full flow. And that's pretty much all it comes with. It does also come with three 11 inch long zip ties as well or cable ties.So that's everything that comes in our kit. I hope this is helpful in figuring out if this is going to be the right one for you. If not, we do have a lot of other kits available here at etrailer.com.
If you want to pick up something that's a little bit different for maybe a tandem axle trailer, we have those as well. We also have actuators, hub and drum assemblies, all that good stuff. So check it out if you need to get your trailer all fitted up with new stuff. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time.
