Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Dexter Hydraulic Brake Line with Fittings

Today we're going to take a look at the Titan 13" long hydraulic brake line with fittings. Now, this is a 13" long hose, which will connect your hydraulic brake actuator to your trailer brakes when it's used with additional lines and fittings. Now those additional lines and fittings are not included. You would have to purchase those separately. We do sell them separately on our website, and they are listed on this product page as a related product. This hose is a flexible design, which makes it perfect for use with fold-away trailer tongues. The brake line is furnished with 3/8" x 24 UNF male and female fittings on the ends.

Now the male fitting right here is what will thread into your brake actuator. The female fitting here is what will attach to the first steel brake line in your brake system. But I am going to put a measurement on it just to show you from end to very end is right at 13" long. But that should do it for the review on the Titan 13" long hydraulic brake line with fittings.

Item fits great and got delivered quickly. If you have a diamondc dump trailer and need a brake line, here you go.

Fantastic product selection excellent customer service

by:

exactly the part I needed, ordered from etrailer's excellent website. I tried to source these from the local auto parts store (they may have had them in stock somewhere) but they fumbled around for 15 minutes trying to figure out what car might have this part on it. Let's see, is it a 65 Chevy truck.....no, maybe a Ford....no. If it isn't a specific model of car, the parts store people can't find the part using their computer systems.

Exactly the right length I needed, unavailable at local parts store. Thats why I come to etrailer.

Had damage to my brake line from my swing away hitch on the boat trailer. This replacement was just what I needed and it’s held up fine.

by:

Received my order promptly and the part worked fine.Very happy with E-trailer.

Works fine ,very satisfied

by:

Good value. I bought the cheapest shipping, took about a week. The week before I bought a surge brake coupler and wheel cylinders. These came UPS ground. They were delivered 20 hours after I ordered them. Very good service.

by:

I received the master cylinder found the orifice connector won't fit, had to order T1209800 to fit.

by:

I have ordered an automobile hitch, and now expanded ordering to include brake parts. In each case e-trailer has been very helpful to overcome questions.
Excellent service, helpful people.

by:

The parts arrived as expected. Installation was easy for the most part, once the hard brake lines were changed to fit. Knowing that these additional parts and many other additional parts, such as a reverse lockout solenoid, vehicle and trailer electrical connectors and wires, would be necessary for converting surge brake drum brakes to disc brakes would have been helpful as a "complete" conversion kit. Noah was very helpful in helping me to order the correct parts for this conversion.

by:

Used these hoses to attach steel brake lines to disc brake caliper on a torsion axle. Worked fine.

by:

Perfect size and were the exact replacement for my trailer.

by:

They fit perfectly and work great!

Still working with no problems.

by:

Just the part i needed for a discontinued trailer.

by:

The product was fine and as ordered. Price was reasonable. Only problem was in delivery as it sat in a postal facility for 5 days according to my tracking. While this is not etrailers fault it is something they need to address with the postal service.

by:

Great people to talk to and very helpful. This product didn't fit my application And I had to send it back. No problem. I'll certainly use etrailer for my future trailer needs. Fast shipping great customer support.

Hose length is too short. Installed hose and realized that I was repeating the same condition of a too tight of a radius of turn in the hose to screw into caliper. Previous brake llines were pinched in the turn and when brakes applied, not enough fluid was reaching the calipers to engage brakes. Replaced all lines with 3 inch longer lines from NAPA.

by:

Even though it was too short and I could not use it the line is well made for the price. I wish I could return it.

by:

The products I ordered were of the quality expected. Quick turnaround on my order.

by:

Brake lines showed up quickly and fit p erfect.

by:

Item was exactly as described and arrived quickly, would use them again.

by:

As usual, the folks at etrailer helped me pick the right item and shipped it right away. Happy with purchase.

by:

Quick delivery part is as described

by:

Worked great

by:

parts worked fine

by:

Bolted right up!

  • Parts Needed to Repair Brake Line Connection on Titan Model 60 Hydraulic Trailer Coupler
It looks like that is a piece of flexible brake line you are using. You would need standard flexible brake line with a 3/8 inch male fitting. We offer them in varying lengths. A 13 inch long brake line with fittings (male on one end, female on the other) is available as part # T0777300, 18-25/32 inch length as part # T0776500 or a 25 inch long line is available as part # T0980100. If you do not already have one installed, I would recommend a solenoid shield, part # T4835800183 to protect...

  • Parts Needed to Install Titan Disc Brake Kit and Swing-Away Actuator # T4843300
The Titan Disc Brake Kit you referenced, part # T4843300 includes the flex line to make the transition between the actuator and swinging portion of the trailer tongue and the stationary portion. The brake line would then transition to hard line until the axle is reached, where the second piece of flex line would make the transition to the hard line that runs along the axle. At this point, you will need two flex lines, part # T0777300, brackets, part # T0776300 and retaining clips, part...

  • Can the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit # FHDPB230101 Fit a 16 ft 12K LoadRite Boat Trailer
The Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit # FHDPB230101 will work perfectly for your LoadRite 16 foot boat trailer as long as the tongue measures 2 x 3 inches and the trailer tongue thickness is between 1.88 and .120 inches. It has a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs so it will be more than strong enough for your boat weight capacity of 1,200 lbs (keep in mind that this will not raise your boat trailer capacity). According to the table that is included with the instructions for a 2 x 3 inch and...

  • Pros and Cons of Adding Cast or Aluminum Disc Brake Calipers to a Boat Trailer
The first thing to do is verify that the the disc brake calipers and wheel bearings will fit your trailer. The majority of 3,500 lb axles use # L68149 inner, # L44649 outer bearings and the # RG06-050 grease seals, but you should check to be sure. Next, make sure the wheels on your trailer are 14 inch diameter or larger, and that the spring on your trailer is at least 3 inches from the outer face of the brake mounting flange so that the caliper can be installed without contacting the inside...

  • How to Shorten Hydraulic Disc Brake Lines
Thank you for your purchase from etrailer! The flexible brake lines you selected, Titan # T0777300 and # T0776500, are not designed for cutting. These are offered in the various lengths to allow you to avoid that need and these flex lines are also intended for use near the brake assemblies where their flexibility allows them to handle the motion of the trailer suspension. If you purchased elsewhere a brake kit with rigid steel lines you will need a flaring tool (which we do not offer)...

  • Can a Fold-Away Trailer Tongue Hinge Kit Work with Hydraulic Surge Brakes

  • Selecting a Brake Line Kit for Boat Trailer Being Converted to Disc Brakes
You are correct to place your disc brakes on the rear axle of your boat trailer since this is where most of the weight will be carried (nearer to the boat's motor). Disc brake and torsion axle applications both require flexible brake lines so yes you can use the kit you referenced, part # DM5424. This kit includes 18-7/8-inch long flexible lines, but if your measurement shows you need longer flex lines we offer various sizes of lines; part # T0777300 is 13-inches; part # T0776500 is 18-25/32-inches...

You will need to add a flexible brake line hose only if your trailer coupler uses a hinge at the rear of the coupler (if it is a foldaway type). If so, we offer flexible brake line hoses in three lengths, each with male and female 3/8-inch-24 UNF fittings. The 13-inch hose is part # T0777300; the 18-inch hose is part # 18018-SF; and the 25-inch hose is part # T0980100.

  • Troubleshooting Sticking Trailer Surge Brakes
As long as your Titan model 60 surge brake actuator is rated for disc brakes and is in good working order it should have not problem activating 4 sets of brake assemblies. Yes, the Titan Hydraulic Brake Line with Fittings # T0777300 will work with your 3/16 inch brake lines. The fittings are standardized so you will not need an adapter or anything; it will already fit the flare fittings that you currently have. Keep in mind that this has one male end and one female end so you will want to make sure that it is compatible for your purpose. Brake lines do not have a psi rating which is why you cannot find one.

If you need one with a female fitting on one end and a male on the other use # T0777300.
