Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a quick look at the Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kit.So this is all that comes in your kit to get your tandem axle trailer hooked up with your hydraulic brakes, your hydraulic drum brakes. So I'm just going to go over what comes in their kit to make sure that this is going to be the right one for you.So our main line is going to be this 193-inch long steel brake line. That also works out to 16 feet of steel line there. We'll have our two longer lengths to go from one side of the trailer to the other for both our front and rear axle. So these are both going to be 80 inches long. Then we'll have our two shorter lengths to go on the short side or the same side as our long line.
These are both going to be 17 inches long. And then we'll have a 36-inch long connection here and a 4 1/2 inch long cable. or steel brake line. These are all going to be 3/16 in diameter with all those varying lengths. Then we'll have our two flexible hoses. These are both going to be 18 7/8 inches long. We'll have our three brake tees. These are going to be 3/16 brake tees.So we'll have our three connection points there to split everything off where it needs to go.And it also has a little clip there to hold that in place so we can easily get that tightened down. We'll also have our hose bracket, a retainer clip, our machine bushing.
This is going to be a 5/8 machine bushing, our eight brake line control clips. So this'll go around the brake line, hold them up in place. And then we'll have also eight self-tapping screws to get everything secured in place. The ends of those hoses are double flared, so should connect in nicely and as long as everything's tightened down properly, shouldn't have any issues with leaks or anything like that.As far as any other accessories for this, including a brake actuator or hub and drum assemblies, we do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com if you want to pick those up at the same time as getting your brake line kit. Definitely suggest doing it from us.But that's pretty much all there is to it for our Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kit. I hope this video has been helpful in determining if this is going to be the right kit for you. If not, we do have a lot of other configurations available here at etrailer.com, so definitely check them out if you're interested.
Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time.
