Today we're going to take a look at the Demco single axle hydraulic brake line kit for drum brakes. Now this kit will provide the lines and all the fittings needed to run the brake fluid from your surge brake actuator to your trailer brakes. The steel lines they use in this kit are all 3/16th diameter steel brake lines. And this kit is designed for use on a single axle trailer with drum brakes. It does include all the parts laid out here on the table. We'll start with this largest line. This is a 240 inch long steel brake line.
Now this brake line will run from your hydraulic actuator to the trailer axle that has the brakes. This here is a 66 inch long steel brake line. This one's a 17 inch long steel brake line, and both of these steel lines would run to each trailer brake assembly. Also has this 18 and 7/8th inch long flexible hose. And this flexible hose connects the steel line from your actuator to the lines that go to the trailer brakes. This hose bracket is included.
The will let you attach the flexible hose to the trailer. The brake line retainer clip. This will hold that flexible hose to the hose bracket. And then the 5/8th inch diameter machine bushing here. This is used in the connection between the flexible hose and the steel line from the actuator. And then right here you'll have a 3/16th brass brake line T.
This brake line T connects the flexible hose to the steel lines that run to the brakes. And then the last parts we have are four of the brake line control kit's clips, and four of the half inch long self drilling hex washer head screws. These clips and screws will let you affix the steel lines to your trailer. But that should do it for the review on the Demco single axle hydraulic brake line kit for drum brakes.
