This is a multifunction stop, turn, and tail light with a license plate illuminator on a white bracket . This red light measures 8-5/8" long x 4-5/8" wide x 2-1/16" deep, while adding the mounting bracket makes the width 6-5/16". The molded plastic housing and durable lens provided all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. The white bracket mounts on 7" centers. The wiring design includes the lead wires for power and a ground wire for mounting to any surface.

Today we are going to review Part Number RVST51. This is the Optronics Camping Travel Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light with a License Plate Bracket. This is a multi-function stop, turn and tail light with a license plate light on the bottom and mounting tables for the license plate. This is a molded plastic housing and a durable lens which will provide all-weather protection against corrosion. This light does feature a replaceable snap on lens and an easy to replace bulb. The Bulb Number would be a 2057.
On the mounting bracket, it does use these four holes which are 7 inches on center. Center to center is 7 inches and this way would be 3-1/8. The wiring is a 3-wire system which would be a white wire for ground, the black wire for the tail lights and the green wire for the stop and turn signal. This tail light is weather and corrosion resistant. The overall length is 8-5/8 inches.
The width of just the light is 4-5/8 inches and the depth on the light is 2-1/16. Also, the measurement from the top of the light down to the end of the bracket measures 6-5/16 inches. One last measurement; the distance from the license plate bracket is the normal standard measurement but these holes are basically 7 inches on center. Now what I am going to do is hook it up to a power supply so we will be able to show you the brightness of the light. Basically we will do white for the ground and do black for the tail light.
There is the brightness for tail light. Then we will hook up the stop and turn and this will show you the stop and turn. Now what I am going to do is turn off the overhead lights to show you this is the tail light and that would be the stop and turn. That should do it for Part Number RVST51.

What can I say... these lights are "replacements" and not the OEM lights, but they are higher quality and better looking than the originals. Etrailer shipped them right out... they were shipped out the day I ordered them and on my doorstep 2 days later. When I took the originals off, I noticed they were in place by rivets, and I was nervous about drilling them out of my ABS trailer. However, it was no problem at all, and I'm so glad I took on this project. I replaced 11 lights and both brake lights, and it has given my 1996 trailer a much needed facelift. The old lights were tired, and the bases were black. The new lights have white bases and they they are MUCH brighter and more vibrant. The lenses fit snug. Oh, and the price was incredible. I purchased these two lights as replacements for the unit on my pop-up Viking camper. Excellent product for the price. Delivery was much faster than I had expected. The only possible fault I can imagine is that the wiring leaves the body on the left side of the lamp assembly where, of course, my camper has the hole on the left. The wires are just (barely) long enough to be routed and enter my camper. One inch more would have been great.78040

on the license plate tail light the wires were put in the wrong order where the bulb fits into.When I turned on running lites the brake lite came on and when I hit brakes the running lite came on. I switched my wires around on that lite and it now works good.45142

This product is exactly as presented. I installed this product on my Flagstaff Pop-up camper and it worked perfectly. The mounting holes and wire colors were an axact patch to replace the original equipment. The price was about 50% of the originals and is a superior product in my opinion. I removed the cover lens and applied a coat of chrome metallic paint to the lamp mounting surface and this gave a reflective and produced a brighter glow. This is a small improvement to a near perfect product.51354
