Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe

Today on this 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, were going to be installing the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller part number 90195. The first thing we need to do is find a suitable location for our mounting bracket. You'll want to make sure before you start mounting the bracket to the vehicle, that you check to make sure that there are no electrical components behind where you're going to mount it. Were clear on the back of this plastic tab and theres the metal structure here for our dash that we'll also be drilling in to. This is going to provide a secure mount for our brake controller. Next well use the small machine screws that came with our brake controller with the lock washers on them to mount the controller to the bracket.
