  Hey Jim, yes the Curt True Course # C94VV and the Autowbrake part # 3430001 can be used at the same time. The trick will be running the brake output circuit of your trailer 7-way to the same junction box terminal as what the Autowbrake runs to. This will allow the Autowbrake and the True Course to put 12 volts on the circuit that then runs to the trailer's brakes. For the junction box (if you don't have one already) you would need the part # 3430001-JBK as well.

  Hi Earle; in general, a weight distribution hitch is a no go for unibody vehicles. However, that is not an absolute. I don't see anything specifically calling out weight distribution in the owner's manual so it is possible if the manufacturer says it is ok.   I just checked with my contact at Curt. The Curt True Course # C94VV does not have a provision for the user to adjust its sensitivity. The True Course is more for emergency maneuvers, high winds, semi trucks passing and so on. It is not necessarily designed for minor sway situations that are typically handled by a weight distribution system. The True Course has a built-in motion sensor, so it does not activate until the sensor is moved enough to do so.

  Yes, you can use the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV on a trailer being towed behind a 5th wheel. You will want to also use a Curt Echo # C51180 brake controller with this to control the trailers brakes when stopping. The only reason the systems wouldn't work is if they are not getting a sufficient power supply from the tow vehicle which may require you to run a dedicated power wire through the 5th wheel for the rear trailers 7-way connection.

This device normally does install with self tappers into the trailer tongue but if you didn't want to drill you could run heavy duty zip ties around the device to hold it to the trailer frame.
