Hey Paul! Thank you for providing that information. Since choosing a weight distribution hitch (WDH) is based on tongue weight the most important thing is your 490 lb measurement. Based on that I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET.
Equal-i-zer makes a great system and is widely considered to be the best. Unlike other companies, weight distribution is their main focus so you get a high quality product that works incredibly well with top notch support. This particular model has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs which is perfect for your setup. I'm assuming that is 490 lbs loaded so it will work well when unloaded as well. You will also need the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 for installation.

Upon further research I have found that u cannot install weight distribution hitches on a suburau ascent or any type of anti sway because of the unibody construction , so in order to lift the back a little I will need to go with some type of spring assist or new springs
