Universal dual lens towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Driver's and passenger's side. Tool-free installation.

  • Dual lens towing mirror mounts on either of your factory side mirrors to extend your line of sight
    • Gives you an expanded view of the road and your trailer
    • Allows you to safely and easily change lanes, back up, pass, and park
  • Adjustable so it fits mirrors of different shapes and sizes
    • Ratcheting system securely tightens heavy-duty rubber straps over a variety of mirrors
    • Mounting arms rotate outward to accommodate different factory mirrors
      • Pivoting joints in the middle of the arms allow further adjustability
    • Sliding clips grab onto the edge of your factory mirror and adjust to fit varying mirror thicknesses
  • Snug fit reduces mirror vibration
  • Manually adjustable mirror face allows you to customize your view
  • Quick-release button on ratchet for easy strap adjustment and fast removal
  • Rubber pads on the straps protect your vehicle's mirror housing from scratches
  • Convex mirror makes reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, allowing you to see more
  • Black plastic housing provides a clean look and won't rust or corrode
  • Easy, tool-free installation and removal - no hardware required

  • Application: fits most mirrors 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall
  • Mirror face dimensions: 7-1/2" wide x 5-1/8" tall
  • Quantity: 2 mirrors
  • 90-Day warranty

These adjustable, universal-fit dual lens towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

2019 Ford Ranger

The mirrors provide good visibility around the trailer on my 2019 Ford Ranger. Due to the curved, sloping shape of the plastic frame of the truck mirrors the extensions occasionally slip and need repositioning and retightening.

Working well after a year. I havent had any slipping issues since working out a system for placing and tightening the mirrors

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

These K-Source universal towing mirrors are great for the most part. The biggest problem is that they put a lot of pressure on the mirror housing to keep them attached to my mirrors, and I am noticing that my mirrors are starting to distort a little.

After a year with the K-Source dual lens towing mirrors, they are great quality. However they don’t fit my car mirrors very well, mostly due to the aerodynamic shape of the mirror my car has. I almost lost one twice from falling off. I would still buy again.

Yeah, universal mirrors will not fit the mirrors perfectly. Most of the time, though it only requires an adjustment every time that you use them. If you ever have any serious issues with them, or even lose one just let me know and we can see what we can do for you.

Decent solution for 2019 RAM 2500. Fairly easy to install and adjust. Need to retighten the straps occasionally during longer trips as they stretch a bit. Shakes/vibrates a bit as expected given design. Mirrors are OK visual acuity/not great, but good enough for this purpose.

These have held on, straps still good etc. I’m not a fan of the poor quality magnification and vibration but so far it’s been the best option for hauling a 30’ trailer.

This extension mirror work well for towing our small trailer. It's supposed to fit our 2015 Audi Q5 which was what I entered when ordering. The problem is this mirror housing has an extreme curve and the mirror would slide off without another attachment aid. Before taking on the road the first time I attached a nylon strap with a Fastex buckle (3 ft from REI), tying the mirror arm back to where the mirror connects to the car body, and that did the trick.

Bob D.

I e used these mirrors for 2 years now, logging about 7 or 8,000 mi. They are very functional, have held up well and are fairly easy to install and remove. The fit issue I discussed in my first review stands: because of the curvebulge in my Audi mirror housing I have to use a strap to pull the mirror back towards the car to keep from sliding off.

Ford F-150

I have used the clip on mirrors for a year now. I use them on my 2022 F150 when pulling an RV trailer. The mirrors work great and provide greater visibility for monitoring traffic. The mirrors attach easily to my truck mirrors and hold tight. This was a good purchase.

I've tried multiple mirror styles on the Ford Explorer and these are the best. They stay on the mirrors which are curved and do a great job while towing the camper. The view is excellent and the quality outstanding. Highly recommend these. Other mirrors actually fell off on the highway as the small tabs that slide into the vehicle mirror housings are made of white metal and as you put pressure on them they crack.
The ratchet style connectors make this a perfect device for these curved mirrors on the car.

Robert G.

One year later and they are working great! We have taken many trips and so far they are the best.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is my second pair of towing mirrors. The first ones were the twentysomething dollars and a big disappointing. I was spending over five minutes to arrange them just to start driving and have them move and be almost useless. These are fitting so much better on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! The attachment system is ferm and with a better grip on the mirror, the entire assembly is suddenly part of the car and the best thing is that you can adjust the two mirrors without moving the entire thing. When in the right position, you can see a lot more in the mirror so you can confidently move your trailer. Very satisfied with this product, fits very well despite being universal.

After one year of using these I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Every time the set up is fast and the mirrors are staying in the right place making them perfect right away. I am towing a wider travel trailer and these are providing the visibility I need.

Toyota Highlander

It attaches securely and works great. It takes a little patience and finesse to put on the Toyota Highlander. But given the shape of the vehicle mirror, this is probably as good a design as possible.

After using the mirrors several times, they get easier and are quicker to install. I recommend them.

I like the design however it is not a perfect fit for a 2020 outback. I think it will work, while I have installed it on the car to make sure it fits I actually have not taken it out on the road. As of now here are the pro and cons
pros. 1. The two mirrors allow for good viewing
2. it seems pretty stable once installed
3. it has a lot of adjustment for fitting different
4. the rachet tighteners work well
Cons. 1. until it is installed the straps fall off the bottom
easily making it frustrating to attach. It would be
good if you could attach it and snap it or lock it into
the fitting so it wouldn't slip off so easily (I may
try duct tape)
2. It would be good if it had a third strap that would
hook to the car side of the mirror to keep it from

after using it I would say it still works good the mirrors themselves do not adjust easily it would be nice if they would adjust more smoothly and with more ease. but over all am satisfied with them

They do everything as advertised, but being universal means you need to adjust at each use and ensure everything is set perfect for your vehicle.

Have done over 5k miles the past 9 months with no issues on our 2019 Ford Ranger

They still work great, have had no issues at all. Nice product for my truck

2014 Nissan Frontier

The trickiness in adjustment is more than made up for in the ability to position the mirror properly. Might be a problem on a rainy night unless you've got the install down pat, which should happen after a couple of mountings and driving with them. I'd buy them again.

Its a good product with well-designed fittings - we finally went with a rear-view camera and monitor to REALLY understand what is happening behind us!

Mike L.

@Mark That's a good choice!

Works great! As long as you can get them snug (takes some time) they are really stable. We had some issues getting it on a passenger-side mirror that had a lane camera on it, but they are adjustable enough we were able to work around it.

Ive towed my popup over 2,000 miles using these mirrors. Still one of the best improvements to my towing setup. A little awkward to get mounted to the mirror on my Honda Pilot that has a camera, so I use use the drivers side mirror.

Great product high quality. Allows me to back my trailer without a backup camera.

These are good mirrors, but they come in two pieces, and the small piece is easy to lose.

Not well. Both mirrors blew off at highway speeds recently. One scratched the side of my truck.

Mike L.

@Jack We're sorry to hear that! If you'd care to reply with the year/make/model of your vehicle we can check to see if there's an option that would work better for you.

2021 Ford Ranger

Item arrived as promised. Easy to install and will aid in viewing traffic behind the trailer

Working great on my 2021 Ranger -

These have worked great for me and have traveled over 8000 miles this year!

These mirrors work great. They have traveled more than 8000 miles and there have been no problems!

Ford F-150

I have a 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid with the 360 camera view. The truck mirrors have cameras and lights on the bottom side and I was looking for mirror extensions that would not block them. I am happy that I am able to get the straps on without blocking the camera. The led lights are only partially blocked, but there is plenty of light that makes it around the strap. So a good purchase after all.

A year out and I am still happy with the mirrors. I have put on about 10,000 of travel with them and they work as well now as the first day I put them on.

I bought these for my 2014 Expedition as there were no "slip-on" type mirrors available at the time. After some trail in fitting these they worked well. I towed a 22' car hauler from Kansas to Reno NV and back with no problems. I did find that after they were on the vehicle awhile the straps needed to adjusted and tightened up but the ratchet type straps worked well for that. Also, no marring of my painted mirrors. They even retract with the folding mirrors I have on this truck. Pictures attached are the only two I have kind of showing the mirrors, not too good. etrailer has always been good to deal with. I would recommend these strap on mirrors. I wish they made the slip on type mirror for this year Expedition as it has a cleaner look.

This is the third set of mirrors I have installed on different vehicles. I bought these for my 2019 Ford Expedition and tow a 25 foot trailer. Once they are installed on the vehicle's mirrors they work fine, providing both near and distant views of the trailer and road. Because of the rounded shape of the Expedition's mirrors these mirrors are finicky to install, requiring multiple adjustments to get them properly placed. This is as much a criticism of the Expedition's mirrors as it is the K-Source mirrors--they are "universal" after all. The first time I used the mirrors I was fearful that they would come off at 70 mph but they stay in place and there is limited amount of vibration--I get a clear view. I was attracted to these mirrors because of the double view and that has been excellent.

2019 Nissan Frontier

My first impression is that they are just ok, but the mirrors vibrate quite a bit when the truck is in motion...much more that the stock mirrors. They were easy to install and hopefully when I get the installation dialed in a little better they won't "wiggle" quite so much in use. They arrived in a damaged box, but fortunately the mirrors themselves were not damaged.

Actually, they were returned as ultimately being unsatisfactory, and another mirror purchased.

Added these as an alternative to purchasing extended mirrors for my truck. I only pull my 5th wheel a couple times a year so didn't want mirrors the other 50 weeks extended all the time. Can not get my truck in the garage with extended mirrors neither so that was another reason. However, I will admit they worked good they are also time consuming and flustrating to install. Depending on the style mirrors you have could make a difference in the install. These fit many styles mirrors but as anyone knows they can't fit perfectly on them all. My mirrors were a bit of a hassle. I did not want them coming loose and falling off in the wind. Taking time and care to install paid off. I pulled my 5th wheel over a 100 miles one way they worked great. Nice to be able to see along both sides of my camper easily. Yes, I have a camera on the back of the 5th wheel but the mirrors are nice on the expressway. I can see traffic in the other lanes beside me. If you don't want to invest in upgraded mirrors, which I think are ugly, they are a great alternative.

The mirrors were easy-to-use and provided excellent views of the traffic and road to the rear and sides of our camper trailer. No vibrations, very sturdy. A great purchase. Great quality and very much worth the price.

Easy to put on and take off. The large mirror shakes a bit, but the small outer mirror provides a very stable image. I have tried other clip on mirrors, and these are the best.

2018 Toyota Tacoma

These tow mirrors worked great on my 2018 Tacoma. I wouldn’t have been able to see around my trailer without them. I pulled a trailer about 2500 miles, over a two week period, often at highway speed & mirrors didn’t move a millimeter. I’m very pleased with them, easy to put on & take off. Didn’t scratch the paint on the factory Tacoma mirrors at all.

These tow mirrors worked great for my first time out with our travel trailer. They were easy to install and adjust before heading down the road. Once on the road, the mirrors do shake some, but I figured they would based on other reviews. It's not terrible, and you can still see what's behind and beside you. I would actually give these 4.5 stars because of the shaking. And it's really only the larger mirror of the two. The outer mirror is pretty stable. All in all, I like this product and would recommend them to anyone looking for nice tow mirrors that work well and are easy to install.
