Question:
I am towing with a Tow and Stow Ball Mount, and after a recent trip with my 7x16 enclosed trailer, I’d like to add some sway control to this setup. Do you have any options for sway control I could add to what I already have? I prefer to stay with the Tow and Stow for convenience and not go with a weight distribution hitch, which I don’t really need for what I’m towing. Thanks

Michael, you can absolutely add sway control and keep using your Tow and Stow, but a traditional friction sway bar isn’t going to work with that setup.
There isn’t a safe or approved way to add a sway control tab part # C45822 to a B and W Tow and Stow like the part # BWTS20067BMP, so your best option is an electronic system like the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control part # C94VV. This mounts on the trailer instead of the ball mount, so you keep the convenience and adjustability of your Tow and Stow while still getting active sway correction. It detects sway as it starts and automatically applies the trailer brakes on one side to help bring everything back in line, which can make a big difference in keeping your 7x16 enclosed trailer steady.
This is one of the few solutions designed specifically for setups like yours where a friction bar or weight distribution hitch just isn’t a good match. It’s especially helpful with enclosed trailers that can catch wind or feel unsettled depending on how they’re loaded. The one thing we would want to confirm is that your trailer has electric brakes, since that’s what the system uses to correct sway. Can you confirm that?
What do you usually haul in the 7x16, is the sway mostly happening on the highway?

Yes, my trailer has electric brakes. How exactly would the Tru Course apply the brakes only on one side?

I used a weldon tab to me hitch and a curt friction sway control bar helped tremendously. I don't use a weight distribution hitch, pulling a 17 ft fiberglass camper with a Toyota Highlander.
